We lost our cat, Sweetie whom was 19. When it was time, we wanted to rescue a cat because of our exceptional experience with our rescue dog, a greyhound. On a whim, we drove to A Place For Cats, not intending to bring home a new family member that day. There were so many beautiful kitties needing a home. The staff was very friendly and obviously cared so much for all the cats, knowing each by name and temperament. We were given the opportunity to spend as much time as we wished visiting all of the cats. We spent nearly two hours at the facility interacting with the felines. The entire time, the staff spent their efforts solely on the cats giving them their sole attention (and us any time we had a question). We settled on our little Ruadh - a cute little twitchy-tailed ginger. She's so well adjusted and I have to assume a lot of the credit goes to the attentive and caring volunteers who spend so much time with the kitties nurturing them. We couldn't be happier with our pet, whose company we've had the privilege of for nearly a year and a half. Our whole family loves our little Ru and can't imagine life without her. Thank you, A Place For Cats. If you are looking for a kitty, young or old, spend time here and find the perfect fit for you, like we did.
