AMA Animal Rescue

I recently became a volunteer here at the shelter, and it's amazing! The manager of the shelter, Jovanna was very kind and made sure I understood every step of the process for helping and caring for this wonderful animals. So many of these guys are just looking for a home, and I'm proud to be apart of the team! Hopefully you will be too! There's a lot of cleaning, but there's dog walking, and a backyard for volunteers to spend time with them. It's a wonderful shelter! :)

A world in which most say they care, but only a few show that they care!!! I found this friendly, sociable stray cat and couldn't leave her alone, sick, malnourished and who knows what else. I brought her home with the intent of finding an animal rescue group that would take her. I have 7 rescues and unfortunately,I cannot financially afford to rescue another. If only all they needed was Love, that I have in abundance. I called many places and no one offered help. AMA Animal Rescue even at capacity valued this unwanted cat and made a way for her to be accepted by their organization. I've always donated to animal help groups and felt betrayed when I needed help and couldn't find anyone. Upon feeling defeated, Mariah contacted me and said they would accept her. I was so happy, not for myself, but for this little cat that would get the Love and care she needs. I think it's so essential to research organizations before donating and AMA will always have number one priority in my book, when it comes to making donations!

Volunteering at AMA Animal Rescue has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm from both the dedicated staff and the adorable furry residents.

What struck me most about my time here was the sheer passion and dedication of everyone involved in caring for these animals. The staff members go above and beyond to ensure that each pet receives the love, attention, and medical care they deserve. It's truly heartwarming to see the lengths they go to make sure every animal feels safe and loved.

As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to contribute in various ways, from walking dogs and socializing cats to helping with feeding and cleaning duties. Each task felt meaningful, knowing that it directly impacted the well-being of the animals and helped prepare them for their forever homes.

I would highly recommend volunteering at AMA Animal Rescue to anyone who has a love for animals and a desire to make a difference. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or just want to lend a hand whenever you can, every contribution counts and is greatly appreciated. Plus, the joy you'll receive from seeing the wagging tails and purring faces of the pets you've helped care for is truly priceless.

I adopted my two babies from AMA, and I could not be happier. The process was straight forward and swift. You could really tell how much they care for their animals, they made sure my cats were fully healthy, vetted, and socialized. I really appreciate the work that they did not only for my cats, but also any animal that is lucky to enter their facility. They truly go above and beyond and there is nothing more novel that caring for animals. Thank you AMA for being a light in this world.

I came here for a school volunteering event. The dogs were very cute. They were all taken care of. The owners of this non profit were kind and informative. They taught us about the adoption and breeding industry. Remember to adopt, not buy. I would 100% volunteer here again.

Amazing organization. Jovana, Mariya and Anna are so helpful, professional and friendly! They are very patient and respectful. You can tell they are truly passionate in their work and they really care about animals.. I don't really have enough words to describe how happy I am to have Luna, our new member of the family ❤️ 🐈‍⬛ Our family is blessed with such a sweet loving girl. I am now part of the Angels club and now you should too!! They need more support from the community. I highly recommend to go there if you are ready to adopt!!!!!

AMA is a top notch animal rescue. We adopted our little girl there 4 months ago, and every step of the way, the people at AMA were involved because they truly care. When I went to do our meet and great the place was absolutely spotless and all the animals were clearly cared for. Once I left with our pup, they checked in right away and wanted updates about how she was fitting in at home and with our other dog. I sent updates constantly through the fostering process and they were thrilled to get them. They held us to a level of accountability higher then other rescues ive used in the past, because they want the best for these animals. We love our little pup and the world is truly blessed to have an organization like AMA and the people there. Again, truly a top notch experience and top notch rescue
