When we moved to Park Slope, we heard great things about PSU. We came from a league in our old neighborhood that was lacking the professional coaches. After the first practice, it was obvious that PSU is a level up and really challenges the players to improve their skills and take the game seriously. Every kid is actively participating. We are so happy to have joined PSU!

Park Slope United is a great soccer club with a terrific array of programs, great access to facilities and some truly wonderful coaches. It is a family affair at PSU where many families have multiple children in the program, which creates connections across programs, age groups and coaches. Both my son and daughter have loved their time there and I would recommend it highly to any prospective families.

We had a great experience this autumn with Park Slope United! Our coach was kind, supportive, and engaging. Our son really enjoyed his time and he can’t wait for the winter season to start!

Our son has been with PSU from Select to training with the travel team to joining the BKU academy. Great methods, great communication and they foster an inclusive, caring environment. We love the sense of community it fosters with the parents outside the actual academy. And we love Mo. A proper gentleman and excellent coach!

My two kids have grown a lot as soccer players and really enjoy practice and games. During the year we have been part of PSU we have seen a progress in communication from organizers to parents. The league is strong in teaching tactics and positioning but it could do more on individual skills, specially given the age range (8-10YR olds)

PSU is home for my son. Not just for soccer, but for long lasting friendships with his teammates throughout the years, and mentorship from the coaches. We have been a part of this squad since he first touched a ball, and now he is on the travel BKU team. There is a variety of coaching styles - depending on the personality assigned to your child's team, but what is consistent is their true commitment to them getting better and hitting their potential. They are not disillusioned to the fact that all these kids will play college or go pro (despite what the kid may think LOL.) So the focus really is on growth and teamwork..and fun.
