● Pasar Senen Station Already done a great improvement in the last 10 years.
○ They Provide some big fan
○ They Provide some kind of canopy
○ They Renovation the toilet
○ They Renovation the musholla ( I think the only place in PS Station that provide AC without have to buy something 😁)

● Nowadays, there is Commuterline Route that stop in Pasar Senen Station (The train doesnt stop in PS Station before)

● So many mini food restaurant. This kinda place is needed when passenger want to wait in comfortable place

■ I think as the " Kereta Jarak Jauh" station in jakarta ( beside Gambir) , PS Station has to implement the face scaning entrance. This innovation could remove many problems in Queue up before going to the train

Pasar Senen Train Station in Jakarta has undergone a remarkable transformation, embracing modernity for a smoother intercity travel experience. The station now boasts enhanced security checks, improved facilities, and a more organized layout. It serves as a vital hub for economy-class intercity trains, connecting Jakarta efficiently with various destinations. Despite its historical charm, the station has evolved to meet contemporary travel demands, offering a seamless and secure journey for passengers commuting to and from Jakarta.

Pasar Senen Railway Station in Jakarta is a historical transport hub that has served the city since colonial times. While it holds historical significance, the station has faced challenges in maintaining modern amenities. The platform area can be crowded and lacks the cleanliness and organization of more modern stations in Jakarta. However, it remains an essential transportation hub, connecting passengers to various destinations across Java. Its central location makes it accessible, but travelers should be prepared for a more basic and sometimes chaotic experience compared to newer stations in the city. Expect historic charm but consider modern comfort elsewhere.

One of the oldest train stations in the city of Jakarta, usually if you are going to travel a long distance by taking an economy train, your children get on and off at this station, the situation here is very neat when compared to the conditions before the railway reform by Mr. Ignasius Jonan.

for the first time in my life I heard that there is a rule against sitting in public places like train stations even if it doesn't disturb others.
waiting chairs are uncomfortable and unable to accommodate a large number of visitors, the officers/employee are too money oriented and unfriendly,
the screen about train information is not working, the ticket price is expensive but the service is lacking, the train station is spacious but too messy,
there is no instruction how to printing boarding pass / zero helper except we walk around to find one who available.
charging place not safe/ broken, need to repair.
to be honest this train station need attention
thank you

Great station as far as I know in Indonesia. I love this station since there are water dispensers to refill my empties bottle haha. No worries if you are hungry, many food stall in there. Thank you PT. KAI

The third largest train station in Jakarta after Manggarai and Gambir. Pasar Senen has around six train lines, and serves long-distance departures to various cities on the island of Java. This station also being departure point for government-subsidized economy trains and serves the Commuter Line (specifically to the north-Kampung Bandan and does not serve the south-Jatinegara).

The building have now been renovated. There are many food outlets and mini markets that are open 24 hours. Busy hours are usually just before dawn (many trains from Java arrive in Jakarta) and in the evening (many trains depart from Jakarta at that time). I often take the train from here when I return home in Central Java.

The platform is connected via an underpass and sufficiently protects passengers from the heat and rain. However, there is no access for passengers carrying luggage through the underpass yet, it should be improved again later. Security around the station also needs to be improved, because many online ojek drivers (besides Gojek, Grab and Maxim) often offer themselves in a pushy way and can make passengers feel uncomfortable.
