Delicious, fairly healthy food. Located deep within the 30 Rock building. Upon entering the building, locating sweetgreen was a MAJOR challenge for me.
That said, my bowl was fresh, flavors were really vibrant and ingredients were exactly as ordered.

After almost 2 years, I still fondly remember the time my beautiful wife and I went to this Sweetgreen and after we ordered our meals, we noticed that our european bank cards didn’t work, we were out of cash and the sweet person from the staff just gave our meals to us for free, being very understanding. And the food was great!

As always food is amazing at SG but the service at this specific location could use alot of work. The queer white man that helped me out had a lot of sass and was slightly rude when telling me all my extra additions were extra. The other woman that helped my boyfriend chopped and tossed his salad even after multiple times telling her no. The whole place smelled like sweet potato and workers are either rude, dont know english or can’t hear well.
(Also nowhere to sit)

Never again. Absolute chaos. Ordered a 12:45 pickup online because of a very limited lunch break. Received an email saying it was ready @ 12:35. It wasn’t there and it was chaos. They clearly take on more scheduled orders than they can handle. Staff was flippant and indifferent. Worst sweetgreen experience

This location can be very chaotic with a long line if there is a rush. However, I've only had good experiences with pre-order and MealPal, and the portions were actually better than another location in my work neighborhood and the service better than in my home neighborhood. This chain will probably always be controversial; they are on the pricer side of salad restaurants and not everyone's taste, but they have been consistent and use quality ingredients in my experience. But I'm used to midtown prices and weird timing of lines/demand and occasional shortages at the end of the day.
There is no immediate seating area in the storefront but you can dine in the building or outside; it's in the basement level so not what I would consider an amazing atmosphere. The store is clean and bright at least.

I don't quite understand, why this location is getting such bad ratings. To be fair, I had pretty low expectations as I took a look at the ratings online, but my experience proved me wrong.
The location was pretty empty when I dropped by, there was only one other customer in line before me on a Thursday afternoon at roughly 4PM.
My order was processed by a very kind, polite and attentive employee, who basically asked me every step of the way how to prepare the bowl, the amount of sauce to apply, explained the spice level of the hot sauce, and every ingredient from the salad to the chicken was balanced in its quantity.
The bowl was extremely delicious, the amount of food was more than I expected, and I don't see any kind of disrespectful behavior on part of the staff here.
Maybe things have changed after the aforementioned reviews, and if they have, then to the better.
Thanks for the delicious food and thank you for the exceptional service and experience.

I wish I could give this location a 0. If you're going to charge $18 for a salad at least give a decent portion of chicken etc. Its a slap to the customers face especially after having to wait on a ridiculous line because the workers are too busy playing games with each other joking and ignoring customers and then throwing their salad at them half the time missing main ingredients. This location is just a mess!

Terrible.
I gave it two chances. The first I queued up in store and experienced a slow, painful crawl to the front of the line. There's loads of staff but the process isn't running smoothly and it takes ages.
The second time I ordered online for midday pickup. 20 minutes after the pickup time the food finally arrived, missing one of the main ingredients (chickpeas in the curry chickpea bowl)....
The salads, at a cost of $14, are not good. After they've been mixed with tongs they resemble something a toddler might knock up if given free reign over the contents of a fridge. Flavour wise there's nothing special and the chicken appears un-seasoned and bland.
There are so many better alternatives nearby for flavourful, healthy lunches (Dig Inn, Naya, Little Beet etc), don't waste your time or money at Supergreen.
