This review is more about their customer service than the product . Per their site you can return , however they will claim they never received goods back. You must use their service and even after multiple emails with proof of the return they claim they didn’t get it . There is no way to call and the service person, who goes by Katherine keeps repeating the same info and never reads what is written. I have the feeling it’s AI since I would hope a live person has better skills . In any case , do not buy from them unless you are positive that you are keeping the item.

My Mini dachshunds short legs make it difficult to shop for shoes. So glad that we got to try on the different sizes in person!

This is not a review about the clothing and the products, which i like very much, but their store staff. I have encountered 5 of them thus far and 3 were awful, rude and full of attitude. Especially the lady on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. One of the gentleman misdirected me about the shoe size and in 1 month my dog grew out of them. I told him she is a 3 month old puppy, i had to purchase the next size up to fit my dog, again. They should train people to be a bit more pleasant and cheerful, it’s a dog’s store for god’s sake, not an overcrowded mental health clinic intake center. That’s what it felt like with those three people, cold unhelpful and rude. Not a good experience

Tried of using Pawz rubber boots…within this last 3 weeks I e had to use them more than ever with all the snow and rain. Decided to take a leap and go to wagwear NYC location. Glad I did. Lola (believe her name) was sooo attentive to me and other shoppers. I had no idea what size to get my pup. She sat on the floor with me to try on different sizes. She was warm, patient and friendly. Great customer service. My dog was draw to her … maybe because she mentioned the word treats 😆… I went in to buy one pair and left with a pair for cold months and a pair for warm months. My pup has been wearing his wellies since Saturday. No more galloping in them… now walking normal.
Love love the store…would definitely recommend to other dog parents.
Protecting our pups paws is #1.

Clean and organized however very low on inventory. Stopped by to get winter boots and had trouble knowing what shoe size to get as front paws is bigger so I wanted to stop by the store and get help in person. Devon, the only worker there, was not only HIGH but was unprofessional and to be honest, useless. I had a concern about returning if the size doesn't match and he didn't understand so I had to explain to him twice. His speech was slow and his work in handling was slow. He spoke to me as if I didn't understand but he had a sarcastic tone about his way of assisting. Not only I had to spend 30+ min just to figure out the boots size situation with him but the store also didn't have a lot of inventory for me to choose. Again, Devon wasn't helpful and I left the store thinking, Wagwear is a big reputable brand and to think they have him to represent like this in NYC, is beyond wild. Rather pay return shipping via website than to go back to deal with incompetentcy at this level. please hire someone else that doesn't smoke on the job.

I finally got my first pair of Wagwear shoes and they fit perfectly!! It has been a struggle finding shoes that actually stay on all of my feet and these do. I got size XXS for my back feet and XXSH for my front feet.

Our pup recently hurt his back nails, which prompted us to purchase booties for him for walks. We initially purchased a different shoe brand, which was more like a sock than shoes. It was not as good quality and felt like they slipped off our dog’s paws every five minutes on walks. We had heard of Wagwear before and decided to give them a try. While pricey, they are well worth it. Immediately, we could see the difference in quality and material, as compared to the first pair of shoes we purchased. They are custom fit to our dog’s paws so they do not slide off. It’s much easier to put these on him and it didn’t take him long to get comfortable walking in them. They are sleek and stylish, but most importantly, they protect his paws and give him the confidence to walk like normal. We were recently on vacation with our dog and, while walking him around in these shoes, were stopped at least a dozen times by passersby and asked about these. We are glad we ordered a pair and highly recommend Wagwear!
