Rainforest Cafe

Several staff members had trouble speaking English. Popular birthday spot. Wave my hands multiple times to grasp attention. Make sure you order just right, because they have no packing service. Atmosphere same as other rainforest cafes around the world.

It is a themed restaurant located in Ikspiari mall (Near the Cinema Ikspiari). The ambiance of the place is very cool and we got the chance to be seated beside the aquarium. The food is delicious and the serving is large. We ordered a little islander Caesar salad, RFC grill chicken, large rice, porcini cream sauce spaghetti, and smoothies. This place is perfect for dates, anniversaries, and birthdays.

For the atmosphere and even smell, this place is a must-visit. The food was overpriced and normal. Would get better tasting food for cheaper at other restaurants. The staff at the reception was a little bit rude when telling us that we can’t make reservations since they will just give you a number and call when it’s your turn. We waited quite a bit like 30 minutes. For kids this would be a great place, but overall it was just okay.

Pros: the whole place has a very unique, 90s, fun atmosphere. The animatronics sure make it worth coming.
Cons: the menu is rather expensive, basic and the tastes pretty bad. The BBQ cheese burger was really mediocre at best.

All in all it was a fun experience, just don't expect to be blown away by the food. It's pretty awful.

Side note: The Panama Punch drink was really good, so maybe getting slammed next to huge plastic elephants and gorillas might be a fun thing to do.

Love the experience. Went at dinner time. It's a great place to bring kids. The food is delicious, expecially the pork ribs. The service was really good as well, th staff were very nice and polite

We saw this restaurant on the way to Disney Sea. I was a bit turned off by the gift shop at the front at first glance. But on the way home, I looked at the menu items and the restaurant interior. I was more or less excited to check it out. The staff were very accommodating with the limited japanese I spoke and gave some of the best service yet. It was a bit pricey, but the experience and free refills made up for the price.

This restaurant is one of the most thematic restaurants I have ever visited. It includes many attractions such as aquarium, fountain, many figurines of tropical animals such as elephants, crocodiles, chimps and exotic parrot. While I was having a meal, there was a storm in the rainforest, which was simulated by sound effects, shaking of the animals, and loud gruntling of the chimp.

Overall it was a fun experience. I recommend this place for having parties and for families with kids.
