Grace Lodge Nursing Home

Exceptional care. My lovely Mum spent 2 years here at Grace lodge. Mostly through the pandemic 2020-2022. Could not have asked for anything more for her need's. The staff are dedicated and don't use agency staff so always familiar faces and that's so reassuring as a family. My Mum was so well cared for here cannot thank all the staff for everything.

I had to find a place for my late fathers partner that was close by. It’s always very scary having to place a loved one in a nursing home. However in the 12 months my dads partner has been here I’ve rarely found anything to worry about. From what I’ve observed the staff are all very caring, and know the residents very well, taking a personal interest in them. All the staff are friendly and accommodating to the needs of my fathers partner. I feel confident that she and everyone in the home are being well cared for by all of the staff. One thing which really puts my mind at ease, is there is very little use of agency staff, so the residents are familiar with the people who are caring for them. I would have no reservations in recommending Grace Lodge for your loved one if they are in need of care.

Clean tidy

Can’t find the words to express the excellent care given in this nursing home. My Dad spent the last 3 months of his life here. The home is not luxurious, but it is clean, patients can have their own possessions around them and the staff are excellent. Nobody wants to put their relatives in a nursing/care home but if you have to then I seriously suggest you go and look at this place. The staff not only look after your loved one but they look after you too and you are made to feel like part of a big happy family. I am not only missing my Dad but I am also missing my chats with the staff at Grace Lodge x x
