Thorncliffe Grange

I couldn't have wished for my Gran to be anywhere better during the last six months of her life. All the staff here are wonderful and really take the time to get to know each of the residents. My Gran was always really happy when we went to visit her, she was becoming so sad living at home by herself, so it was lovely to see her sat there smiling surrounded by others. Also, the hair dresser here is amazing! I'd never seen her with such lovely hair. Thanks to you all for making her so comfortable and taking such good care of her.

My brother had only been a resident of this home very briefly before he was admitted to hospital as result of a pressure sore which had developed at a previous home. His overall condition deteriorated whilst in hospital and it was decided he should receive end of life care back at Thorncliffe Grange. Words cannot describe how touched I was to witness the tenderness of care for both him and his family. As a nurse of many years I have increasingly become disillusioned at the standard of care in most of the care facilities I’ve visited in recent years, and, it was so refreshing to see such a high standard of care and commitment of all the staff we encountered. We shall be forever grateful to this establishment and would wholeheartedly recommend it for the care of your loved one.

My mum lived here for 4 years we were part of the fixtures and fittings. They didn't just look after my mum they looked after me.

I have no idea how to express my feelings for this nursing home apart from the fact that the staff are amazing . My mother has spent a short time at the home and from the minute she arrived to the minute she left she has been cared for perfectly from everyone in what ever role they are carrying out . All I can say is the management are fab , nursing staff are fab , care staff fab , housekeeping staff fab , we were made to feel valued and listened too .

All I can say is they really will take the greatest of care of everyone the staff are very kind and friendly ( they never stop busy for you all ) Thorncliffe Grange is always a nice place

My grandad stayed here for years and never complained
