It is believed to be very auspicious to visit the temple on Tuesday. The crowd on Tuesday is too much that you will have to wait for 4 hours minimum to get darshan. There are two entries to the temple.

They only close the temple for half hour which is at ~12:15-12:30.

There are free lockers to deposit your shoes and slippers. If you are buying offerings, then you can deposit your shoes there.

Any visit to the Sidhhivinayak Mandir is a divine one. The trust which runs the temple is the second richest temple trust in India. The temple complex is huge and there are several shops outside the main temple selling prayer items, idols and sweets. On Ganesh Chaturthi, the temple is very crowded. It is a very secure place and one can have a VIP darshan by paying a small fee. It is one of the most visited temples in India. Ganpati Bappa Morya!

There are many temples near ville parle known as Siddhi vinayak . One can confuse where to visit.
