I love masks.
A few days ago, we came back to Canada from a one-week vacation taken within the past 2 years.
Since our arrival public health agents call us every other day. There was a visitor who came and introduced himself as a gov. rep to check if we are sitting at home. One of the public health agents kept yawning all the time while she was on the phone asking me her questions, and how do I get a fresh air?! When I told her it is disrespectful to yawn when you to talk to someone, she said she just needs her coffee. I advised her to take a coffee first and then call back. She refused. Instead, she started threatening me with $6.500/person fines for not doing Day 8 test and reminding us of all the rules we MUST obey upon arrival.
While I was on the phone with that person, another agent left a voice message that he was unable to reach me, that I have to pick up the phone, and threatened that they will come to our place. Again!!! So, I need to take a cell with me when I go to the washroom or take a shower. Ideally, put a speaker and a video on for proof.
There was nobody at the airport to distribute kits and nobody did tests. So, you have to order both Day 1 and Day 8 test kits yourself. If you try and call to order 8-th day kit, you will be on hold for an hour or so. Then they hung up on you and you have to call back again and be on hold for another hour or so.
These people are paid over $35.00 hourly to sleep at work, and they call between their sleeps and threaten you with charges, then they go back to sleep again. They are chasing you, they treat you like garbage and enjoy their miserable power. These people have no idea what work ethic is and what basic telephone manners are. PHAC agents are bullying, harassing and discriminating people and do their best to destroy your positive energy from vacation.
