Nice track and well maintained, but the out of bounds markers on almost every hole, most only a yard or two off the fairway, took some of the shine away from the round.

The course is nice and the pro originally from Alberta was friendly. The weather wasn't great but we can blame Mother Nature. We'd come back again.

The course was in good shape considering the rainy conditions. The greens remained quick while the sand was heavy. Some low areas had small amounts of standing water, but overall, it is a beautiful golf course.

I treated myself to a 4-day golf vacation, and was so happy to have chosen Fairwinds Golf Club as the site of my trip. (I knew nothing about the course, and only chose the course because it was the closest open course from where I live).
The entire staff of Fairwinds is exceptional, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my four rounds at Fairwinds over the past three days, with one more 18-hole round tomorrow. I particularly appreciated the services of Coulton at the Pro Shop, who also gave me an excellent bunker lesson before my round today.
Despite the challenges of this tight uphill course, I loved every minute, and I will return home as a better golfer because of my experiences at Fairwinds. Thank you.

Beautifully maintained course with spectacular views and friendly staff. Would recommend renting carts.

Not what I expected. We had the first tee time and we go check in and the guy up front wasn't thrilled to be there and when I told him we've never played here before and asked where the 1st tee was he looked at me like I was speaking Latin. Weird way to start off. The course itself was maybe a 4 out of 10 condition wise. Nothing was mowed greens included. At least the had 1 worker cutting new cups. The course has potential and was in a pretty area just needs some love. There are a few weird holes that are extremely short and felt squeezed in. Then you get to a par 3 that's 240 yards kind of a weird layout. Other than that we didn't really see anyone else on the course and we played 18 in about 3 hours. Not in my top 5 on vanvouver Island

2nd last golf course on our 13 day Vancouver island trip. Pleasantly surprised, great course. Staff was very helpful and Vancouver friendly. Course was in excellent condition, a challenging course but playable. Will definitely play again when we are back.
