Perfect spot to the sunset, benches all over the place, the firs or second place to view are the best, further away the views aren't super, just don't go to far if you have a good view.

30min trail which is ranked as moderate and ended up with the spectacular view of the Algonquin Park / High lands !

omwd this place😍😍😍😍😍good hike and the view was amazinggggg highly recommended especially in fall the colours and trees and wildlife was so awesome! I'm not from canada so as a tourist this place was everything of my Canadian expections and more, didn't see a moose but that was the only downfall

The hike was a challenge but fun and rewarding at the same time. I was with a group but told them to go ahead. I wanted to savour the beauty of this place. I hike and stop every now and then to take pictures, look in some shadowy places (hoping to see some animals living in the area), and of course, to rest. The trail isn’t that bad. I encountered some families with kids, couples with dogs, and some tour group with their leaders. When I got to the top, the view was awesome. Autumn colours is the best!!

I have visited this cliff top few times, every time climb to the top of cliff is challenging. its a great view from top seeing the falls season and summer. its take 20 minutes to reach the top

Well, I was just here and I have made this hike many times since I was a child of 8. Done it in the fall/winter. So this time I went solo. Busy in the fall and parked at the Pine something trail parking lot.
The start of the Lookout trail is in the adjacent parking lot. Trail this way 450m. If you were thinking you'er all that and a bag of chips on hiking, the 450 m of trail to the start of the REAL trail will take the wind out of your sails...
I thought to myself I don't remember it being this challenging???
I have never been so happy to see a flat parking lot...
So the trail between the parking lots is BRUTAL! The rest of the trail is great. They state it is intermediate, but I would say it is on the higher side of Intermediate.
It is uphill for most of the trip in, good path, but still pretty steep. But worth it!
Have to say there were pretty senior, seniors who were giving it up and down, so good on them!
All in all, a good hike. If you are questioning your abilities, don't park at the Pine trail parking lot.
