Silvermine Arch

Easy Walk, your aging grandmother could do it while singing hallelujah.
Beautiful country side. You can do this Walk in an hour there and back.
Poorly marked trail, but a easy Walk

Far from a "moderate" trail in my opinion. Many who think it may be a basic trail walk may be surprised towards the end with a large flight of stairs followed by a short down hill rock/stair to the arch. Not overly tough but many of the trails in this area, like Grey's Arch, are labeled moderate and many people were having serious trouble.

It was a very nice hike. Lots of ups and downs, be prepared! Not too terribly long though and a nice view at the end.

Easy walk down. Super cool place to hang out at. If you're a climber there are some really neat areas there. Much more difficult hike out!

I loved this trail! The stairs were a bit strenuous but my puppy and I made it all the way up/down. We were hoping for a creek or a water hole so he could get a drink but there was barely a drop down near the cave. Beautiful spot! Lots of wild blueberries along the path 🫐 we will be back 🦋

Fun hike. Not bad at all. Would like to go back after rain to see the waterfall. But very pretty even with out the falls flowing.

Really interesting arch. Good trail. Below the arch on the nearby wall, look for the seam of coal near the bottom. Trail note: from the trail, as you first approach the stairs, they are visible on your right. The trail splits here. The easy route continues straight then turns sharp right as you approach a cliff edge overlook. Follow the rim back to the stairs from here. The right bypass trail will work, but it requires some scrambling and you will miss the overlook. On our trip back, we found a swarm of what i believe are termites. See photo.
