The Nest Diner

Jon was AWESOME!!! first time being there and he made us feel so welcome! food was phenomenal we went for brunch and had some great mimosas ($3 each everyday all day awesome!) the food came quick and my glass was never empty, Jon made sure to check up and make sure our food came out right and we didn’t need anything. We will definitely be back and we will be asking for our great server Jon!!!

Love this little diner....The menu has so many options. The flavor of the food never fails to impress!!! Everything always tastes so fresh, unlike other diners that taste like frozen foods. We ALWAYS have to get the fried rice on top of whatever we order, it's literally the best fried rice I have ever tasted!
Service is always good. John was our server this time and super friendly and welcoming - thanks John!

I have to say this place is awesome!

It was my first time coming here and we had the BEST waiter! John I believe he said his name was. It's not often you get a waiter who is so passionate about his job, but this guy really loves his work! Definitely one of the best waiters I think I've ever had!

Combine that with some awesome food and I can't recommend this place enough! I had the chicken and waffles and the waffle was cooked to perfection it's got that golden brown crispy outside and fluffy interior.

Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture but there's other people that have uploaded pictures of that dish on here and it looks the same.

If you're looking for a quick brunch they've got everything from omelettes and breakfast bowls to burgers, sandwiches, and cheese steaks, to shrimp scampi or steaks with mashed potatoes.
Just be sure and ask for John to wait your table! He's the tall guy with the tattoos, ya can't miss him!

The Nest Diner in Cypress, Texas, deserves every one of these five stars! From the moment we walked in, Jon greeted us with a warm and welcoming invite that set the tone for a wonderful dining experience.

We started with cranberry juice, which was refreshing and delicious. The chocolate chip pancakes were cooked to perfection – fluffy, flavorful, and loaded with chocolate chips. The sausage patties were amazing, full of flavor, and cooked just right. Our eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bacon was nice and thick, just the way we like it.

Due to Jon's great hospitality and excellent service, we will come back strictly for him. The Nest Diner offers an exceptional breakfast experience with great food and outstanding service. We can't wait to return!

Upon walking in, my family was greated immediately. The got the menus and were pretty indecisive. We found out they served the whole menu all day which opened up some options for the extremely picky eater we had with us. The Mozzarella sticks are amazing. Cheesy and fresh goodness. I oreder the country fried steak with 2 sunny side up eggs, toast and potatoes- 10 STARS. The crust and flavor, even with all the crazy on top was the perfect combo. My daughter ordered the silver dollar kids pancakes but they were bigger than her head lol. Definitely worth the money. My husband ordered French toast with 2 sunny side up eggs , bacon and potatoes and we devoured it. Everything was so flavorful and the staff was very much on it.

While this diner had more of a chain diner feel to it, it wasn’t bad at all! Service was fantastic and the meal was wonderful.

Food was great, our server was very nice and may have been the cook as well 😳. We were sitting in our booth and I guess one of the members of staff was close by sleeping and snoring pretty loud. So it was a little awkward. No one else was there but we did go after lunch and before dinner so didn't expect it to be busy. The chicken fried steak was great. Good flavor so I do recommend the food. We were actually coming to eat at another restaurant and decided to try this place out and glad we did.
