Madrona Park Beach

This beach is easily the best in Seattle!! You do have to a swim test to access the deep end and it is quite hard. Additionally, there are no floaties, snorkels, flippers, or anything that could be considered a swimming assistance allowed in the deep area. There is a good platform to jump off!

Gorgeous, beautiful beach that is accessible via bus, walking, and has a good bit of parking. It was so beautiful when I went. I just saw on a nice rock and watched the waves while talking to a friend on the phone. Seattle is full beautiful little places like this And Ezell's fried chicken is just up the street on Jefferson and Soulful Dishes is up the street if you want the best shrimp Poboy for some tasty black owned food!

Nice relaxing place to walk along the water or sit at the benches. Has a convenient location so you can walk to it if you live nearby, but there is also a parking lot if you choose to drive. The walk back up into the houses is very steep and intense so be prepared. The beach section is very small and filthy. I would skip that and just walk along the trail

Amazing view, Great place to hop for a family picnic. I must say, just go there and feel ! We had seen US Navy Blue Angels acrobatic skills, a true treat to eyes!

Cool lakeside views with Cascade mountains in background (Mt Rainier - circled area in photo - looked like a mirage).
Unexpected swimmers beach /grassy lido area with picnic tables and diving platform (water 14-15ft deep there according to lifeguards manning the place midweek in early June). Pretty wooded trails behind it. Small (free) parking area nearby.

Nice small beach with beautiful blue views. I kept walking East from my air bnb in Central District and stumbled upon the park it borders! Cool steps in the trail too

Groovy place to chill. Be sure to check out Kurt Cobain's memorial bench and don't be intrusive to the new residents. We weren't, but there were a few people trying to nose around the sides of the house.
Pretty neat place to take the pup for a walk.
