good dog park. secure. shaded so is cool. a few agility obstacles. no grass as natural bush setting. lots to sniff and explore

It's got the potential to be a pretty awesome park, but it is pretty abysmally taken care of by the council.
There's trees everywhere, which is awesome, and one of the few redeeming factors. Real shadey, and stays relatively cool.
It's just a sand pit in the dog area though. Ironically, there's plenty of grass everywhere outside, so the whole 'on leash' area is where 80% or people go.
Which is pretty understandable, given the actual area they're meant to be is a dust bowl.
So much of a dust bowl, there's an entire tree that's collapsed and been sitting there for almost a month, a bunch of grass trees that are literally crumbling apart from there being no moisture, and actual paved brick work and tree roots beginning to show through everywhere with all the sand that's getting blown away in the breeze.
And a multimillion dollar dust bowl across the road now, thanks to the golf course that used to be there being sold for property development naturally (apparently there's a "lovely green space" close by, it's on the brochure don't ya know).
Genuinely dodgy park. Wouldn't visit until either the council actually puts some effort in, you're able to deal with dirty sand in everything, or you're not concerned about getting done in by a tree at some point in your life.
Otherwise, yeah. There's a playground I guess.

Highly recommended the park. It os spacious. There was a large grass area where you can walk your beloved furry babies on leadlsh.
There are also 2 ( as far as i could see) enclosure where you can let your doggo off leash and play. This is a great opportunity for those whose dogs are not quite friendly.
I am uncertain whag sorts of plantation/pasture around that area but it smells different. My doggo loves it :)
Moreover, there is a playground for kids. A shed with table and chairs. Basically, a perfect place for everyone:)
A reminder though, i was bitten by a mosquito. So be prepared if you wish to go there. Also be sure your doggie is up-to-date with his/her vaccination, flee treatment ,canine couch treatment, etc.

It was our first introduction to a dog park for our puppy. We met some nice doggies. Equipment was nice too. It was quite dirty, bits and pieces of rubbish. I liked the devision of small dog park and big dog park.

Loved that my little pup could be off lead and still be safe. Loved the shaded areas. Would have liked a bit more mowed grass instead of sandy, dry leafy/stick material but only because he has a long coat for it to all get caught in. Will definitely go there again🙂

The first enclosure on your left is for small dogs, the second on the right for all dogs. Its a good place to take your dog to mix with others, but it would be better with more grass and more than one drinking bowl per enclosure. That's why it's only a 4/5.

I really like this park. It's a shame that the gate and seating in the large dog area is very far away from the grass. Your shoes will get pretty dirty.
The small dog area is great, with lots of shade.
They also seem to occasionally redo the turf.
There is also a nice big oval and playground for children.

A good dog park for your 4 legged friend. With a big and small dog enclosures with agility Ramos, and jump, crates and various exercise beams etc they'll have plenty of things to do and smell and room to run around befriending other pups. The entrance is double gated with poop bags and bins close by. Car park is 30 secs away with space for about 15+ cars and there is also a green area just outside the enclosures that's not so dusty.
