It's like tropical paradise in the Kelapa Gading urban jungle. Awesome place to hang & chill with a lot of water to cool the location. Food is quite mediocre. Service quite slow cannot help it perhaps due to the size of the restaurant. Took a lot of pictures n videos here indeed.
Traditional Sundanese restaurant on a big scale ... Usually Mang Engking restaurants are found next to paddy fields out of town in idyllic location. This restaurant brings idyllic to the urban forest indeed.

I visited Gubug Mang Engking to have family dinner. I love how it has plenty parking space, various seating options, children area, and fast service! The food are good, I do enjoy the experience to eat at 'saung' on the fish pond. The only drawback is the hot weather (despite of the fact I came in the night) and there was no blower to make it cooler.
They said the food was very good. So I tried it. I'm sorry to say that it's not my taste. But other people might be different... But the place is very beautiful. Come and see it for yourself. The drinks, fruit juices, mixed ice, etc are nice.
Very OK. Good food and very cozy place in a crowded Kelapa Gading.
The atmosphere of Indonesian sunda mood is definetely really nice and the fish ponds give a very serene feeling.
I loved the kangkung with kecombrang was really good.
The cendol was a little bit weird .. it came without any coconut milk only gula jawa ice and nangka.
My husband ordered the ikan bakar but we found out they fried the fish before grilling it.. and the taste was terrible. Recommend the resto to grill the fish from scratch.
In bali bale udang we had the ikan bakar it was good. Maybe they can refer to denpasar bale udang

tasty dishes. price ok. service prompt and accomodative.Udang bakar Madu, Kerang simping is must try. only the weather is unfriendly.
Lovely Sundanese food. Big car park space. The gurame honey sauce was lovely. Atmosphere is nice, surrounded by pond and water fountain, it feels like on natural area. Quite busy on dinner and lunch
