On arrival into the room it looked good. On closer inspection it was dirty. The door frames had tea/coffee drips. The headboards were very dusty. Stains on the carpet. A pane in the window was cracked. On check out day I will inform the sister hotel as their is no staff at this one. Bed and bathroom were clean and as we were only in the room to sleep it was liveable. Despite everything we would stay again because of its proximity to attractions.
Horrendous place. Clearly not being cleaned and maintained. Do not stay here. Ripped wallpaper, damp, smashed window covered with only a piece of cardboard. Door handle missing only to be found in a drawer later on. No staff present on site day or night. Free would be paying too much.

This hotel had no staff in reception and the bedroom was dirty we asked for 2 single beds and 1 double bed but we ended up with a bunk bed and the bunk bed frame was not screwed on properly so the frame was loose they wallpapered over wallpaper there was no handle on our room door it looked like the ceiling was gonna collapse and there was mould in the bathroom and the soap holder was mouldy and rusty. This hotel is haunted earlier on in the day the spoon was moving on its own and I heard scratching on the wall we also heard glass in the reception bang together and no one was there. The hotel front door was open and no one locked it so anyone could walk in and all rooms were unlocked so anyone could go in any room for example a killer could walk in and kill people because the front door was never locked and the toilet seat was not screwed on properly

Only just a 5 for excellent double room for 30 quid and soft bed. Warm and nice shower.
The window panel was sellotaped lolololololol and kettle didn't work so after someone didn't come I swapped it in room four for one which did.
U MUST on bookings. Com make it clear that the keys for this hotel are collected from you're sister hotel on the site and till 9pm as U have a bar at the posthouse. Both this factors are an inconvenience and really this should be a 3 star rating. In my case the room was excellent. Except the kettle lol. Maybe for others this wouldn't be the case
