It's been a regular hike for my dog & me for years. We enjoy walking by the water and getting the cool breeze to keep us cool. It's a beautiful trail regardless of whether it's sunny or overcast.

We were canoeing towards 401 highway bridge. Because it is fall season the water levels were very low and it was tough canoeing on low water level places. Had to get down and push the canoe once. But it was a lovely experience with colorful trees and birds. We still managed to go from Waterfront trail to 401 bridge. Still good to do canoeing or kayaking. Waiting till spring and summer to come back.

We took a drive over to Rouge park on Sunday, expected it to be busy and it was. There was some guys working managing the gate, managing cars going in and out, ensuring there were enough spaces to park. we were told it was busy and to maintain social distancing which was easy even though the park had a lot of people. We walked the path back towards Rouge Hill GO station and it was lovely. The colors were fantastic, seeing what I think was the Pickering power plant in the distance gave it kind of a post apocalyptic kind of look. It was great to see so many people enjoying the outdoors, the beach, the Sun period some were swimming, I'm not so sure about that, but good for them! Beautifulplace to enjoy the Fall colors take some really lovely pictures and just get out and enjoy being outside again!

Came for sunrise but missed it by a bit. Morning is the perfect time because the sun isn't beating down super hard. Found a tooon of grapevines in the area and there's a good amount of wildlife to just hang out and watch.

We walked around a lot, there's a nice boardwalk for runners and cyclists also
