UNIQLO Battersea

Any day you find a Uniqlo is a good day! And thankfully, it's in mall at Battersea Power Station.

I love the way that they organize this store. If only my closet should look 1/10 as good how I see it here. Nicely folded, color organized and classic.

You can't go wrong with anything you buy at Uniqlo. You'll have it for years to come!

I love this store, it's part of the cool vibe of metal and industrial with Battersea Power Station.

Had the worst possible shopping experience imaginable on the 04/05/23. This was due largely in part to the constant following by security and staff and the rather overbearing and constant pressure from one of the staff in particular.

This girl, who wore a beige coloured hijab, appeared out of nowhere and began “helping” my brother and I look for items despite us being in the section we were looking for, the employee then questioned my reasoning for wanting to buy a winter jacket in the summer, it’s not summer everywhere in the world. Once I had chosen my items and brought them to the checkout I was asked for the 50th time whether or not I needed help. Having worked in retail before, I’m well aware of the fact that “do you need any help” is shorthand for “you look suspect and we’d like to determine your reason for being here”

As someone who suffers from autism is was very difficult being repeatedly questioned and harassed whilst trying to completely a simple shopping trip. I led the store with 130 pounds worth of clothes however my treatment in the store means I’ll never return as a customer.

Uniqlo staff do not know how to accommodate to disabled customers.

Next time go ask someone else if they want help 40+ times.

I picked up one item from the £9.90 discounted rack. Item had full price on the label but it said “discount will be applied at the till”.

I got another item from the £19.90 discounted rack and a full priced one.

When I went at the till, after being yelled at by the cashier 10 times to go to the self service ones (which I had attempted but was showing the items at full price), found out none of the items were on sale.

The cashier was extremely rude and unhelpful, screaming at everyone as if we were a bunch of performing dogs.

It is also very dodgy to pretend items are on sale and hope people will not notice or be too embarrassed to ask to have them taken out once at the till.

As an adult travelling with a group of four others, I made it all of three steps into the store before being told I couldn't bring in a coffee.

This is a wonderful UNİQLO in an exciting historic location.

Great selection of clothing at reasonable prices. Great selection of colours. Plus ALL staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly 🤗

Clean, organized and large store, allowing many options when choosing new clothes. Oh, there's also a dog water station 🐶

Second visit since the power station reopened as a "shopping destination", last time in winter & we went up Lift 109. The shops are very upmarket but I love the building, which has kept as much of its industrial history as possible. Outside by the Thames, there are more eateries & a few shops, along with a large grassed area & children's play area. It shouldn't be forgotten this is a residential area with a lot of flats/apartments. Getting there is easy, Northern line tube or various bus routes, but I like the river boat if the weather is good.
We went primarily for a free pop up event by Jaeger-LeCoultre, an excellent couple of hours there.
