Lipscomb Community Center

We hosted my baby shower here a few weeks ago! It was super, super affordable for the 6 hours we rented. Great for parties and events, especially in the summer time— the A/C was good. Super clean, and the staff was very helpful with booking, set up, and clean up (thank you, Kim!) Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable event space— small or large.

Art, Debra and team are really great to work with, friendly, professional and accomodating. Building at that time was exceptionally clean and well maintained. They have annual Thanksgiving feast with local Queen, Miss Dot, in charge of cooking for ENTIRE neighborhood. Awesome food! Large outdoor accomodations and reasonable rates for the cherry on top!

I went to the bingo fundraiser for Team Esteem and it was awesome, great food, great fun, and wonderful prizes and auction 😁

That part just keeps getting better and better a lot of young youth and parents attend to events out there now as well fascinating and wonderful to see all shape sizes of color of people to come together I am a local and was raised in this very neighborhood job well done God bless you all sincerely yours Quentin herring,aka ,q f5

Its definitely for kids.... parents if you want some me time, too say get a break than give the kid some money & drop that holy Terror of a kid off for a little bit. That's all that is there kids, kids, and more kiddddssss 🤪

Nice park with a variety of features! Young kids can enjoy the swings,slides & monkey bars and plenty of walking trail too. Small swimming pool but only selected group of people enjoy it so never viewed community enjoying it😳

I grew up going to the "Rec" every day for a major part of my life and have some great memories of friendship and fun. Now that I'm grown I love to go to the park to workout...it's so peaceful with the scenery of the water and birds, plus the constant breeze. I encourage everyone who reads this to take advantage the community treasure!!!
