Munich Airport Marriott Hotel

If you need to catch a flight out quickly or are short on cash, this is the place to stay. Taxi to downtown Munich is over 100.euro. The hotel has a shuttle and is the way to go at only $15. euro per person, but book early, we had to take a taxi which was close to 45.euro. Taxi in this town is SOOOOO EXPENSIVE. The town the hotel is near is wonderful with good shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

My check in at the Marriott on the evening of five September went great. The receptionist was extremely friendly, and helpful. When I had inquired about paying for the parking garage, he had given me a ticket for the parking machine which would allow me to enter, and leave the garage as many times, as I needed over the next 24 hours. This worked great as I had to go to dinner, and leave again later to attend a meeting. however, the next morning, when I went to check out, I had accidentally given the parking garage ticket to the receptionist when I returned my room keys. When I got to my rental car, I realize this and returned to the receptionist desk. The person who I had given the key, and parking garage ticket to was occupied. This, is when I came in contact with his associate, who was the rudest, and most unhelpful person I have ever encountered at any hotel. She, refused to help with my ticket, which I had just returned to her associate a few minutes prior. It really appeared, as if she was going out of her way to be very rude, and unhelpful. I would love to make a formal complaint, is there anyway I can do this?

Terrible experience at this Marriott hotel.
It claims to be near the airport which is not really true. The shuttle service, which is usually free for all airport locations is actually 15 euros, and you have to book it beforehand. What worse is that it only runs every hour, and doesn't run at all between noon and 4pm. So be very careful chosing this location for its convenience.
I had to take taxi one way, which cost me 35 euros, and taxi driving didn't want to take card at first. Be very persuasive, they must take cards!
It was a heat wave in Europe during my stay and AC was barely running, was hot during the night and unbearable during the day.
Breakfast was good though, the only positive in this hotel, hence two stars.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed here the other day before our flight back to Australia.
The rooms were amazing and well kept, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The service from the staff was fantastic.
Only notable thing against them was the main restaurant was closed for a private function so we had to have dinner in the bar area which was small.
Otherwise amazing hotel.

Buffet breakfest was great and large amount of food and different types of food.
They also had a little kids area, which was great for our daughter.

Would definitely like to go back.

Quick check in. Had a horrible experience at another hotel and Marriott was very accommodating. Staff was friendly. The bar ran out of the drink I wanted but made an alternative for me. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Everyone was nice and explained shuttle service. It comes on the hour and is 15 euros per person. Would gladly stay here again.

We booked this due to the name indicating it was close to the airport. It wasn’t - it was a 40 euro cab fare away even without traffic. There is an airport shuttle, but it only runs once an hour. It’s lucky we didn’t sit around and wait for it.

Once we checked in, we discovered they didn’t stock the bathroom with towels and had to wait a long time for those to be delivered. Once we got in the shower, they didn’t have conditioner. We called and waited thirty minutes for it to be delivered. They finally sent someone to offer me shampoo, body wash, and lotion, but didn’t have conditioner.

The service at the hotel was really really good. The gentleman that checked me in was super helpful and went out of his way to make sure that I had what I needed and got me set up with the shuttle.

Unfortunately though this is an older property and in serious need of renovations. The location is billed as a hotel location but it's at least a 15 minute taxi or shuttle ride away and you have to pay for it.
