That’s too hyped for what it is. The tuna Russian salad had some bad mayo and almost no tuna. The “tiny octopus” was too tough to be fresh and the portions in general kinda sad- small. My friends had the pork cheek and the rise that went with that was literally 2 spoonfuls. The dessert we got (chocolate cake) was BAD and super old (like seemed 3 days old cake) but another desert (sweet bread) was really yummy
So all in all
Nah :/
But service was good

The quality of food is not bad. But every dish came with such small portion - especially the paella and I could easily finish 2 of them. The small portion of food makes this place very overly priced.

You MUST get the squid ink paella! Definitely the best we had in Barcelona. Other dishes were also really good.

A delightful spot moments away from a very busy street in El Born. The restaurant is open all day, and two small entrances lead into a larger restaurant and a bar area. The service was super, and it has a menu of the day and tapas menu alongside a La carte for reasonable prices. The tapas menu was delicious, particularly the boquerones, pimientos and the soup. It’s cozy inside with artwork on the walls and wooden finishings. A great place for a drink or Catalan food in a calm gem while enjoying the neighbourhood.

Very nice atmosphere! The beginning looks like a bar, but around the corner you will find a small nice restaurant. The food is amazing! I would recommend the spaghetti with gamba’s.

We had the black seafood paella and Catalan Chicken with cappuccinos. I can really recommend the Chicken in Catalan sauce, it was super tasty, with dates and pine nuts- very flavourful! The paella was also tasty, but there was only one prawn and two mussels and the portion size wasn’t the best as the dish was quite shallow. The service was good and there were English and French menus which was helpful.

We just happened to walk past this place after visiting the Picasso Museum. They were offering €15+ 3-course set lunch.
The options were well over the value that we paid for. Except for the paella which we felt the risotto rice could have been cooked more, but everything thing else brought a smile to our faces.
Especially recommend their Pork Shank cooked with Cognac and Broccoli. Wow! Mind blown.
