absolutely goated spot. such good food. got the chicken and toum lunch set. great portions so tasty

Get amongst it , busy , book ! , little noisy when full . Lovely staff , enjoyed our food . See pix.

It was such a stunning place to have brunch.
Love the atmosphere and gives off such great vibes. We went with 2 toddlers and they had enough space for our prams and had high chairs but only 2. The only thing I can say that may need a tiny bit of improvement is the amount of food you get. It is on the pricier side but it definitely meets quality it’s just the amount of food is little compared to what would be more satisfying. Hope that makes sense but in my books 5 out of 5.

Fantastic food! This modern greenery corner on James Street is lovely and very well ventilated. The service was somewhat disorganised - a bit of rush then long pauses between dishes - but overall, we did enjoy our night out.

The prices have increased, and the portion sizes have decreased. The bold Middle Eastern flavors I remember were lacking. The quality of food was ok but I was little disappointed this visit.

I was excited to try this new ‘hot’ place out on James st and what an underwhelming experience in terms of food and service.
First of all, when my food came out I received 2 poached eggs. The first was good and then I cut open the second one and I get a hard boiled egg. I was too full and thought I would let the waiter know when she came out to take our dishes back. When I let her know, her first response was ‘That’s the way it’s supposed to be.’ Even though it clearly said poached egg on the menu. It was her whole attitude about it that put me off. She didn't event put in the effort to look at my dish as I was pointing it out. Then she has the audacity to tell me saying Oh, why didn’t I tell her earlier. No apology just a tough luck type of expression and walks away with our dishes.
Second of all, where our group sat was it direct sunlight to the point I couldn’t open my eyes. When we asked if we could move (and yes there were empty tables available) they blatantly said No without even the effort of trying to look or any explanation that wasn’t possible. The more ignorant thing is that they allowed other guests to move when they asked. Absolutely rude.
Everything is ‘sold out’. Running out of hash browns at 11am on Sunday… really..? Not good enough.
Service during the whole time was underwhelming. They seem friendly with the high pitched voice but when you actually receive food and coffee everything is plonked down in the table and the staff are too busy to run away. No one actually cares or takes the time to listen what the customer is requesting.
If you want to run a business in a street like James st and charge the price like you do, its about giving customers the experience, service and good hospitality. This place doesn’t care about their customers. They only care about instragram influencers that would give them a 5 star rating.

We got pita bread, falafel and babaganoush ( was served cod which is not my personal preference)for starters
Falafel was nice with green tahini.
For the mains we got wagyu flank skewer( best dish and it’s a shame that forgot to take photo) and the whole chargrilled chicken
The chicken could be better by having more smoky flavor
I didnt get staff’s behavior! Seemed they were in rush and we were interrupting them!

Bread was very below average, did not taste fresh whatsoever and should definitely have come with the babaganoush for the price you pay for both dishes individually. The fattoush salad was fresh, but lacked flavour slightly. A standout was definitely the duck leg which had so much flavour and was generously portioned for the price with the delicious couscous.
The waitress was rude to us however, but seemed to be that way to everyone and not just us in particular. It took a while for us to receive menus once seated and she was very harsh when approaching us to ask for our order. We asked a question about the menu and she was short tempered and degrading with her response.
Whilst the food was good, the accessibility isn’t great and the service was a let down. For the price point we do not think it was worth it and likely won’t be returning.
