Had a great Friday night learning how to spin clay on the pottery wheel. The hosts are friendly, funny and patient. Even if you think it might not be for you, I still recommend you try it. It's more fun than you might think.

My family and I went to a “Try It” class. Small class with 2 amazing instructors (Janet and Matt) who are available for as much or as little help as you need. Would highly recommend Mill Court Ceramics. We had so much fun and all left feeling successful! Can’t wait to go back and glaze our creations.

I recently attended a pottery wheel class at Mill Court Ceramics. Janet and Matt were awesome! Classes were small (only four students to two teachers) for lots of individualized instruction. It was my first time trying it and with their help, I made three pieces I’ll now get to go back and glaze and take home. I was so excited and happy with my creations. I loved it so much I’m booking another class and bringing some friends along. I highly recommend Mill Court Ceramics. They’re very reasonably priced, so friendly and helpful and offer lots of different classes. I can’t wait to go back and take another class!

My mother and I attended one of the "try-it" nights at Mill Court yesterday evening. As someone who has never touched a pottery wheel this was the perfect place to start. The groups are small (max of 5) and there are 2 instructors so that you get the individualized attention you need. I believe this aspect really sets them apart from other studios.
Janet and Matt are great teachers and helped me to create two pieces to take home. They are both very passionate about what they do and their goal to foster the arts the community.
I highly recommend checking out their offerings and look forward to returning!

We had a lovely time! We went with a group of 8 20-somethings and everyone had a lovely time. The prices were very reasonable, we were all pleasantly surprised. The owner was friendly and helpful, and facilitated a fun time for all. We painted items like a gnome mug, small pumpkin, small mushrooms, a turtle, a dinosaur, a sea urchin, a small cat, and more!

Had a wonderful time with my fiancee, stepmother and family friend tonight doing the "try it" throwing class with Janet and Matt. The studio has such a cozy, artsy and inspiring feel and the small class sizes mean you get a very casual, fun, personalized experience. Matt gave us a tutorial about throwing, explaining lots of interesting information along the way about clay and ceramics. Janet and Matt then each let us have a wheel to ourselves and worked with everyone one on one, guiding everyone as needed to a finished thrown product. They were patient, encouraging, friendly, funny and clearly very knowledgeable about their craft. This is a great class for both individuals interested in getting into ceramics and groups just looking for a fun and unique night out.

I had such a wonderful time at a recent "try it" night! Janet and Matthew were so informative, and they keep the groups small so that each participant gets a lot of attention. I was able to throw four small objects in the ~2 hours I was there which blew my mind. Can't wait to go back to glaze! Highly recommended :)

I highly recommend Mill Court Ceramics! I absolutely love the time I spend there. I have attended several workshops/classes and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is comfortable and fun. The prices are extremely reasonable and Janet, the owner/instructor is knowledgeable, professional and fun. From children to adults there is something here for everyone. You can go by yourself or set something up with Janet for a group.
