Dinner 22

This is a great find in the middle of Gothenburg. The food was well thought out and presented well. The serving staff were fab. I would have liked to have seen a few more local things on the menu or that they made more of them but it might not be hunting season yet.

Fresh oysters, extremely tasty traditional food. Even they were short on staff, service was still great. Nice place outside in the evening sun.

When in Göteborg, we will be back!

Can’t give higher rating. Raw biff was tasteless, tuna was okay but risotto was disappointed.

Meat was not as tender as I had hoped. Quite chewy, in fact, for a medium-rare. Disappointed to be served at this price point. The sauce was also far too oily and fat for my tastebuds; perhaps something to cut through all that.

Dessert saved the review. Delicious creme brûlée and chilled, savory ice-cream.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food. We opted for a course dinner with a drink set, and the wine pairing with the food was fantastic. Unlike typical fine-dining establishments that might leave me hungry or come with a hefty price tag, this restaurant defied expectations. The pricing was reasonable, and I left feeling completely satisfied. However, I was disappointed that there were only three tables of customers, including ours. When we finished our dessert, we had to wait for 15 minutes to order more drinks. Only the chef-like person was checking on our table and others, while the waitresses seemed absent. This restaurant could benefit from more experienced waitstaff. I wonder how chaotic it would be if there were more customers in the restaurant.

The fish intended for the main course was out so switched to the tuna - couldn't have been happier - tuna was great!
