It's a fine dining place with a good ambience, very interesting decor (check out the lamps!) and lots of indoor as well as outdoor seating. There are very limited vegetarian options. I ordered the Chantarelle Toast and Crispy Polenta. They were both quite flavorful. The staff was friendly and the service was really good. It is quite pricey, so I would have a hard time recommending it for vegetarians.
Honestly amazing food, the steak frites was really perfectly cooked and we really enjoyed outlet starter.

Only minor thing with atmosphere is that the location is split half restaurant half bar and towards the end it got pretty rowdy - more so then I’d like during a dinner.

I booked Brasserie Godot for my husband’s birthday last night - it was recommended to me by a friend so I thought I would check it out. I am vegan and my husband eats meat, but this was the perfect compromise - a three course vegan menu alongside various other mains that suited my husband.
The server was attentive and super helpful - she sat down with us and talked really passionately about the food, which made us very excited to try it, and it did not disappoint!
The vegan courses were delicious and inventive. I’m also allergic to nuts and seeds, and everything was tailored to suit. All the staff were so friendly and the vibe was great. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

This is a great find in the middle of Gothenburg. The food was well thought out and presented well. The serving staff were fab. I would have liked to have seen a few more local things on the menu or that they made more of them but it might not be hunting season yet.
Fresh oysters, extremely tasty traditional food. Even they were short on staff, service was still great. Nice place outside in the evening sun.

I was stumbled upon Godot Brasserie during my visit to Stockholm, and I'm so glad I did. This place is a culinary gem! The fusion of French classics with contemporary Swedish dishes is simply brilliant. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. And let's not forget about the drinks – they were a perfect complement to the meal. If you're looking for a dining experience that's both traditional and innovative, look no further than Godot Brasserie. Highly recommend!"

Meat was not as tender as I had hoped. Quite chewy, in fact, for a medium-rare. Disappointed to be served at this price point. The sauce was also far too oily and fat for my tastebuds; perhaps something to cut through all that.

Spegeln is a place to support if you love the movies. As a rare independent theatre that mixes new releases with screenings of old classics, themed events and even sing alongs I have nothing but love for this place.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food. We opted for a course dinner with a drink set, and the wine pairing with the food was fantastic. Unlike typical fine-dining establishments that might leave me hungry or come with a hefty price tag, this restaurant defied expectations. The pricing was reasonable, and I left feeling completely satisfied. However, I was disappointed that there were only three tables of customers, including ours. When we finished our dessert, we had to wait for 15 minutes to order more drinks. Only the chef-like person was checking on our table and others, while the waitresses seemed absent. This restaurant could benefit from more experienced waitstaff. I wonder how chaotic it would be if there were more customers in the restaurant.
The one and only place to watch movies at in Malmö! Beautiful interior, great food, and lovely selection of alcoholic and regular drinks to go with a viewing of cult classics or new arrivals to party along with or sing along to. They've simply ruined every other movie theatre for me!
My wife and I were at Bistro Spegeln yesterday. Not to watch a movie, just to eat and drink a bit. It wasn’t busy at all, which was nice. When standing in line, the costumer in front of me was complaining, because they had forgotten his popcorn. The waiter was apologetic and gave him his popcorn right away. When it was my turn to order, they didn’t have three of the dishes I wanted on their menu, and when asking wether I should stay at the bar and wait for my drinks or just go to my table, because I didn’t know the custom, I was replied with a snappy comment that she could bring it up, but it was a bit of a hassle.
I got my soup fairly quickly, but my wife was still missing her shrimp salad. Finally I asked a waiter, if they might have forgotten the salad, and they indeed had. It came in a plastic box and had been shaken.

Good bread and that’s about it. Meatballs are incredibly salty, I drank about three glasses of water and continually feeling salty after I left the restaurant.
A bit smaller than most cinemas I've been to, but very cozy. They serve food here as well, like meat and cheese.
Really nice venue in a quiet part of the city. I really loved both the meatballs and the salmon toast with omelette. The service was really fast and welcoming! I recommend this place if you want to taste some typical swedish food!

The interior feels a bit old but still cosy. You get your own small table for snacks and drinks. They got a decent selection of food, snacks, cocktails, beer and wine.
Stopped in here for a couple of drink on a Sunday before closing - great people watching place, staff really friendly and made us feel welcome! Thank-you (and good luck with the wedding)

For techy people stay away. Screens are small and the sound is lacking.
But who can complain when you are able to get up and order a wine while watching the movie. Very cosy experience. Great for classics. Not for the new.

Really enjoyed this place, ordered the Swedish meatballs and the cod fish both were very delicious. The staff are very nice and fast serving. Highly recommended
The food was nice, went there twice as part of work outting. Both times the food didn't disappoint. The tartare was great, seared tuna was delicious, the flounder was very well done, burrata was lacking flavor and the shrimp sandwich was my least favorite
Maten är god men serveringen usel. Var ett förbokat sällskap, när vi kom var inget förberett(enkla saker som bestick, glas o vatten). En fick en drink efter 30 min, medans de som beställt cola och en öl fick dessa 10 min senare än drinken, oklart varför man inte går in med allt samtidigt. Vi andra som kommit in fick inte beställa för än vi sa till, trots servitrisen varit vid bordet 2 gånger och serverat drinkar. När maten väl kom hade vi inga bestick, vilket vi tillslut fick påpeka om vi inte ville äta med händerna.
Ägaren är inte så trevlig mot gäster runt om iheller. Det är synd då miljön är mysig och maten god, men går inte dit för mat igen då servicen var det sämsta jag varit med om. Tiny place. Went there with friends but after one drink the gothic bartender girl won't serve us anymore saying we're too drunk just because we talk loud. There were other really drunk ones who accidentally knock off a chair but she didn't refuse to serve them.
The burger was very good. The service very friendly and attentive. The space welcoming. Recommended.

Ser trevligt ut vid en första anblick men tyvärr var det enda positiva den trevliga servitrisen. Maten var tyvärr under förväntan, höga priser och små portioner (förutom pastarätterna). Det som förvånade extra mycket var chefen där (ägarinna tillika kock?) som hade ett otrevligt och agressivt bemötande, verkade gälla såväl matgäster som gentemot personal. Vi kan tyvärr inte rekommendera detta ställe, välj ett annat i Simrishamn är vårt tips.

Nice local restaurant in at the east side of Södermalm. We went here spontaneously, and they had lots of free spots and the waiter told as that we could have a seat wherever we wanted. This waiter was really joyful our whole visit, with a big smile on his face. Our waitress that evening was also sweet, but not as friendly as the other person.
The food was really delicious. I started with a classic Swedish starter, toast skagen. It was quite a big portion for being a starter, which I appreciated. The meatballs I had later on were also great.

My husband and I were looking for a place for dinner and after only 10 minutes wait, they prepared a table for us. We ordered the typical meatballs, grilled venison, a warm baked chocolate tart, and a bier. The dishes were well presented, tasty and the portions were good. We spent SEK 756.00 that I consider a good price for what was offered. Nice restaurant and atmosphere, I think very good also for a cocktail.

Been here twice and although I really like Bistros this just isn't my place. The food is alright but nothing more; there's nothing wrong with it but neither is there anything special. Just the other day I had the Secreto Iberico and for 300 kr I'd expect a little more to be honest.
Service was friendly and the place is set up nicely and spacious. All in all good for both a lunch or dinner if you're nearby but don't go the extra mile.

I had the pleasure of visiting Bistro Spegeln in Malmö recently and I must say it was a truly memorable experience. It is a friendly staff, food which brings value for your money and surprisingly good even though it is quite "simple" food.
It is great because it combines being bar (having quiz and live music some nights) and being a cafe.

Ok French place . Food was as expected bit nothing more. Service could have been a bit more attentive but friendly. Clean place in general and the ambient noise quite low. So perfect place to bring you're grandparents
The shrimp and roe toast was excellent! The meatballs were decent (didn’t realize they contained pork which I can’t eat so my partner rated those). The mushroom toast just average. Lovely atmosphere though!
Great place with excellent food for a decent price. Nice wine selection as well. Staff knows what they are doing. Do not forget to start with a cocktail when you are there!

Amazing place. If you are fun of movies and small "boutiquesck" cinemas than this place is definitely for you. I mean they have a bar inside a movie theatre, you can order a drink and you wouldn't miss a second of your movie. Definitely coming back.
Best food for lunch, my favorite spot for swedish lunch restaurant in town. Good price and great lunch choice from fish, meat, chicken, vegetarian and more. I having kålpudding on the picture, taste wonderful. One of my favorite menu in the restaurant.

Google has it down as greek in the short details. That was years ago. Now it’s more french bistro. They have wonderful mole-monday.

We first came here at the bar and were very impressed by the drinks, so we decided to come back for dinner and we were not disappointed! Godot offers a very wide series of options to satisfy all tastes (it also has a vegeterian menu). We ordered à la carte and all the dishes were very tasty and ver well put together. The choice of wine is huge as well, both bottle and glass, and the staff is very warm and friendly. A great experience!

Would definitely recommend the mussels, delicious. Nice outside area on the street when it's warm. Great cocktails too. Friendly service.

Very tasty breakfast with fresh bread, coffee, juice, scones, müsli. Cosy and nice atmosphere with a good location close to the river.
Great service, quite upscale crowd. You'd want to be a bit formally dressed to melt in. The food quality is very good, nice Swedish touch to international dishes and lots of classic Swedish dishes too. I recommend this place for both lunch and dinner, business or pleasure. No party vibe though!

Love this place! I think it's as charming a cafe as anyone could wish. Great coffee and sweets, it's fun and eclectic inside and cozy and convenient outside.
Cozy café with generous seating. It's nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere. The breakfast here is worth mentioning, it is probably the most "bang-for-your-buck"-breakfasts in Gothenburg. A generous buffet with a full range Scandinavian breakfast for a lower price than a regular entrée in this neighbourhood. Well worth a visit, would recommend!

Had the brunch and it was great. Not very crowded despite being central, and a beautiful interior.
Very nice place. There is a nice menu where everyone can find something to eat and drink. It is really good that they open so early in the morning. The atmosphere is cosy and the best of all is the small kids corner that they have. Here a family can sit the children can play and the parents can have their coffee. Very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this.

Ok käk men otroligt långsam och oerfaren personal vid konserten med Roger Waters. Insläppet var försenat mot utsatt tid och det kändes som att personalen kom samtidigt som oss. Borde kunna skötas bättre, inte första gången ni har konsert direkt...

Love the place. Friendly staff and fresh food. I give 5 stars for the surrounding environment. We can see a small channel with an open view to the big river. Sometimes we can see ferries passing by.
You can always count on them for fresh breads. My favorite is their cinnamon roles :)
