Very nice and great place to visit. We came from Toronto just to see the Nickel. It was worth the drive.

We drove from Toronto to visit dynamic earth and the kids had a blast! Our tour guide Aiden was just fantastic! He was funny informative and made the whole experience that much more cool for the kids!

Definitely a great place for kids who are into rocks minerals and geodes!

Super cool place to visit either, on your own if you’re a tourist or if you have kids with you. It’s nice for kids because it’s very interactive so there’s lots to keep them busy! Dynamic Earth provides soap stone for you so you can carve it into shapes and they have different types of quartz for you to tumble on your own with their tumbling machines. You can pan for gold at this location or get tickets for the theatre. We really enjoyed being able to go down in the mines and do the tour! It was really cool seeing the mines through the years and being educated on the types of minerals they mine for in the area. If you buy your tickets beforehand, you don’t have much of a wait once inside. If you’re just looking to get some tourist photos of the big nickel, it’s free to see (it’s just outside in the parking area). The best time to get photos is on a clear day right before sunset; the gates are up at this time and there’s usually not a lot of people taking photos of it around that time of day so you don’t have to wait for others.

Such a great tour. Our family learned a lot. The tour goes over the history of underground mining up to showing you some current processes. You walk through an actual underground mine. Children and adults will enjoy! We also wanted to say how much we appreciated the staff allowing us to do the tour a little past their cutoff at 2:30. We arrived about 10 mins after the last tour went off and had driven all the way from South Carolina and made this one of our stops. They took pity and made an exception. Sabiqah gave us a first class tour. definitely worth a trip and even a destination if you like history and science!

Awesome experience! This place is a must visit for all the geology enthusiasts and science lovers. Best place to bring your curious young kids. Keep a full day for this as there is so much to explore. Under ground tour is mind blowing.
