A very interesting place! One visit was not enough so we want to go again. You can learn about local flora and fauna, about the native tribes, about the Nonsuch ship and much more! Entrance is free on first Friday of the month after 4pm!
Definitely one of the good ones, clean and well maintained. It’s an entire day event, they have some really nice exhibits. The planetarium is definitely a must visit. They have paid parking right beside the building.
The biodome was a beautiful and pleasant experience. We loved seeing the animals in a simulated habitat, the beautiful architecture, and the penguin feedings. It’s a lovely place to take children as well. Try to go at off-peak times as it got a little crowded.
Very nice museum ! We were able to get inside thru the reciprocal membership program with Boston museum of science where we are members, and it was a wonderful 4 hours. I’d love to come back if I can. We only got to finish the top floor and there was so much to see and do and learn. My daughter and the two of us enjoyed it and felt multiple times how it was better than our museum! 😄

We went in not knowing anything about the biodome and were blown away by the size, variety of animals, and care put into this attraction. The seabird exhibits were particularly impressive as the animals were so active.

Start off by the bridge being closed for no posted reason which is really a shame because that entrance really immerses you in nature and starts your journey off right at the Science Center. Instead, you wait in line for a shuttle to take you down the hill to the rear entrance. (Is walkable, but we went in Mid November with a 4 year old and a 7 week old).
Walked in the rear entrance and the place seems empty. Lots of empty spaces and missing exhibits. The areas seemed unorganized except for the original Space and Living Earth exhibits. The way the exhibits were laid out really had so rhyme or reason and it was a really odd layout.
The food in the cafeteria is WAY overpriced. Bring your own food!
Now for the positives.

A very popular attraction so it pays to go early, especially on weekends. It's smaller than I expected and you can easily speed through in less than an hour if you don't savour the moment. Lots of variety in the regions with some good animals. There's also a cool learning area at the very top of the building.
Very good museum especially suited if you are planning a visit with kids. There are several magic exhibitions, including trains, old tools and sound players. There is a huge DJ-like wheel to spin and “scratch” an enormous LP. There are STEM shows for kids at specific times of the day — you can check the schedule at the museum’s website. Nevertheless, the museum is interesting for adults too. A history of bicycle is portrayed by several dozens of bikes from all eras. And do not forget to visit the silent room… 🤫
Super fun and educational place! Lots for children to discover and learn. Don’t forget to check out their science hall downstairs- it’s so amazing for kids! Laser Harp, infinity room, lift-yourself chair, acoustic tricks, river flow water table, just to name a few.

$50 for the ticket + $25 for parking and worth every cent! I highly recommend it if you are interested in that sort of thing... Amazing! It's as if you are truly in space with a 360° view! It's hard to walk even because there's no floor just stars... Crazy! The person you are with is a computer generated yellow human form while the other people are the same but blue... Really, really cool... No pictures though!
Go on a weekday. There will be school groups, but generally it is a quiet and peaceful area to visit by the waterfront.

Well-curated museum on the province's history/development. Mostly casts and dioramas in the natural history exhibits but there's real artifacts from more contemporary history. I spent about 90 minutes here.
Admission did take a while for some reason. There were 4 families ahead of me and two payment desks, yet it was probably 15-20 minutes before I made it up to pay. Front desk staff were very friendly though.

Came here by myself and totally enjoyed my time here. Such beautiful recreation of our ecosystem under one roof. The place is so well maintained and well marked. It is of great interest not just to kids, but also adults.
I will say the content of this centre is very extensive and can really be enjoyable and informative to folks of all ages. However, having parts of the centre closed was not what I was expecting such as the outdoor area which was odd to me since a lot of people didn’t have issues walking outside to get to the rear entrance instead of taking the shuttle due to long lines, and having the space planetarium closed without an explanation posted was very disappointing since I was looking forward to it. The OMNIMAX movie experience is very neat and a cool experience for seeing a movie on such a big screen. There are also a lot of interactive exhibits which help you appreciate the science behind it. One last thing, I understand that this is place is mainly for kids, but parents please look after your kids, I have seen so many without supervision and causing a disturbance which made it hard to enjoy certain attractions and can really make the time there enjoyable with so much screaming. Overall, not a bad place to go for the first time.
Awesome for those that love skeletons of ancient animals, minerals, and fossils! The whole family enjoyed the show at the planetarium.
Fun place, especially if you have a young child who needs stimulation- as a dad I had fun too engaging with my son. There were alot of things and they can find 1 thing they enjoy and stick with it for hours. Although the weekends can get busy with all kids running around, will feel like a daycare with no parental supervision. Other than that it is advisable to go on a weekday if possible.

We used our indigenous status to receive free entry. We went on a weekday afternoon, so no lines, no waiting, it was perfect for our visit. Both my children (2, 1) enjoyed the toddler area and the animals the most. There were quite a few stations that we skipped, just because our kids were too young to enjoy them, but the ones we did check out they liked and participated in. The staff were nice, especially the staff member at the Nature Exchange, he took the time to help my 2 year old find all the bugs. It was easy to get around with our double stroller, and our 2 year old easily found her way around as well.
A wonderful three-in-one experience including natural/human history, a planetarium, and a hands-on science center for kids. Fascinating exhibits in an engaging environment. My daughter enjoyed it all. Highly recommended for adults and children alike.
Past the cafeteria and the rainforest area there's a physics rich exhibit that was quieter than the other areas, and I found that really enjoyable. The crochet coral area was gorgeous, and the moving dinos were really neat!

Always great to go back to an old favourite. Love the new renovations that not only present the museum in a new way but kept all the old favourites! Loved the kids area especially all the buttons that I could just let my little one run around and have fun.

It's was a nice activity with the kids they really enjoyed the days. A good 1 hour will be enough to visit everything. The price is pretty decent. Will definitely recommend 👍🏻
This is great place to spend a day, specially if you have kids. They, for sure will have an amazing experience. There are many interactive exhibits that will allow them, as well as you, to learn many things.
I recommend including one of the IMAX movies presented along the day.
Ensure to get there early to be able to go through all the exhibits.
There is a bus the will take you from the main building to one closeby. The waiting time might be an issue.

First time here had a good time. The price to get in was fair good place to bring your kids for an experience
really fun and neat science things to do. 4 to 5 hr limit and you pretty much do everything. it needs more stalls for washrooms. but over all good fun
Fantastic place for family visit. It has a play area for the kids. It is free 4-5 pm, so if you live nearby, check it out. You pay for parking, but it has lots of spaces. Good place to visit once once a year, perhaps. This is definitely one of the several museums that you must visit in Ottawa.
Awesome and budget friendly place and a must for those exploring Prince George. All the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, what I loved about it was the amount of items put out for everyone to interact with. There were skulls in the play area! Best is that this is a not-for-profit so you get the best experience and it shows.

My friend and I had a wonderful time. The displays are informative, awe inspiring and well presented. We love the section on dinosaurs. However, the Planetarium's area and its seats are dated and there’s a funny smell inside. I hope they will remodel soon.
My kids and I had a fantastic learning experience at the museum! They enjoyed interactive science experiments during a live show, and the museum is very clean. It's packed with educational and playful activities for both kids and toddlers. I highly recommend it and would love to visit again!
Very good place to learn the history of technology and how its developed in Canada. This is the second museum that I stayed for the entire day. (From open to close).

Quite a massive place! Probably the best out of the three Ingenium museums. A lot of things to see and do, many interesting gadgets to play with. It's definitely a great place to bring the kids to learn all there is
It is very hard to describe what it's like today. It has been freshened up but it has less of everything. They have to repopulate the biodome. If you've never been there (and have kids), then yes, it is nice. Nice elevators, bathrooms, nursing area for moms, and new jellyfish tank. However, those of us who had visited the Biodome since 2001, are somewhat disappointed. There are less fish in the aquarium, less penguins, less birds, you name it. There used to be a basement area with insects and self discovery things for kids. Also, a huge souvenir area with good prices. I saw a lot of wasted space on the top floor. Now, the best part were the 3 lynxes. I have mixed feelings...because I used to love going there. Maybe I had higher expectations.

Such a great experience and fun for all ages. You walk through 3 different ecosystems and see all the animals and how they fit into their ecosystem. There are staff members available throughout to assist with questions or to share some more information with you if you’d like to hear. The trails are mostly accessible aside from 2 aerial walkways that have stairs and no ramps or elevators. But you can see these areas from down below so it does not take away from your experience.
There is a vegan restaurant in the food court that sells delicious food, snacks and drinks to replenish you after the walk. And the gift shop is one of my favourite places. I want to buy everything in there. They have such a great selection of toys and gifts.

This was a nice relaxing journey. We started in the Tropical zone. We saw alligators, monkeys, macaws, and various other critters. We followed with Sub-Tropical to get cool, and the penguins & puffins were awesome. We finished in the Labrador Coast - the underwater views were awesome - and the sturgeon were huge!

You get to see a good amount of animals in the tropical forest, but my favorite section was definitely seeing the penguins in the arctic environment.
The structure from the outside is visibly appealing with a cool view of the Olympic Tower. The staff was very friendly and the metro station is a short walk from just outside the grounds.

It had lots of things for all age groups, we enjoyed taking part in some of the fun items!!
It was clean, not crowded but steady flow of people. It was a nice walk from our hotel to the water where this is located.
We recommend to all to take a stop and bring the whole family to enjoy this fantastic Centre!

Has something for all ages! The Mini Mondo was incredible! My 2 and 3 year old were in heaven! I thought it was going to only be for older kids and it really wasn’t. Very clean, well maintained space. It’s a must if you’re in Montreal with little kids. We spent 4 hours there and had to drag the kids out.
This place is incredibly cute for children. I went as a walk down memory lane and adored everything that I saw. You do really need to update the matrix room though. Young kids love that and it's really been reduced over the years.

This is truly the BEST science centre ever! Every exhibit is engaging, interactive and informative. We loved the tech used in the James Cameron exhibit.

Science World is absolutely amazing! I had an incredible time exploring there. The exhibits were super interesting, and my kids were both entertained and educated. The staff were so helpful, and the interactive displays kept us engaged for hours. It's definitely a must-visit in Vancouver!
Before really thinking on buying tickets, I thought this would be another typical museum. But then my family already bought them. So I went anyways. But!! Looking at the building physically from the parking lot really brought good impression! The area is clean (well maintained), building itself look pristine! Going in, the inside part of the building is so clean as you can see from the pictures. I always check the washroom first (don’t know why). They even have a sink in the disable stall! They have nursing room for mothers, and lockers (maybe for their workers). Another thing that I thought/expected was the scent! Boy did this museum blew my mild! NO BAD ODOUR! Even though it’s indoor! I love the freezer area as well! Penguins we’re awesome! Altogether, I am glad my family of 11 went to see the place! I am glad this facility is helping animals who can’t go back to the wild. Keep it up! Hope to see this place again! I’m from Vancouver!
There are a lot of activities for small kids. My 5 year old and 4 year old kids loved the experience. We needed more than 3 hours to truly experience the whole place, which unfortunately we didn't have.

Great place to spend 4-6 hours with kids aged 2-10. Strollers are allowed inside. There’s places to eat (Triple Os and general snack bar for frozen treats). There’s limited parking available so recommend taking the skytrain.
Awesome place to take children of all ages. Easily able to spend at least a half day - all day exploring the exhibits. The Fabriks section is a fun and exciting way to get the kids into experimenting to accomplish a goal. The guides do a great job of trying to frame celebrating the process, not necessarily the result. They recommend 8+ years old but we still had lots of fun with our 5 year old.
We really enjoyed it. They have 4 rooms with different climates, resembling various animals. One of the rooms is very cold, around 5 degrees Celsius, so I recommend bringing a jacket 😄 The price for tourists is reasonable; we paid 46 for 2 adults on a weekday.
Since my family and I have a membership, we decided to come and visit the museum today. The bus ride was about 20 minutes. We walked instead of taking the shuttle bus because the line was too long. Previously, we have had experiences of food poisoning from the cafe, so we packed our own lunch and were able to get seating. This museum is amazing. There are exhibits for all- from deep water exploration to bat caves to the reproductive system. Came with kids and explored the play area on the second floor. Had a blast. Overall a great experience and would come back again.

It’s a lot of walking as well but they have a lot of accessibility options.
A little underwhelmed and disappointed, it seems if you plan your day to do the live experiments and events with the staff it would be better. Also staff was super involved and fun.
A great place to visit. I would rate this museum top 3 among the museums all over Canada: although the hemisphere in the front is not that attractive, although the main entrance is like a 50 years old apartment without been taking care for 40 years, although there is no cultural relics “ bought” around the world, although there are not a lot of actual fossils, I do see the ppls who designed and build this museum really spent time and effort creating this spotless exhibit: they fully utilized the limited space and resources, created every model most close to the original , from bison to rice, from cephalopods to armadillo. If we don’t have plan for other things, we could stay there for at least 4 hours.
Hadn't visited yet but when family came in from out of town decided to check it out. Lots to see here and we'll laid out. Interesting to see the changes that have taken place over time and the history of the region. Natural history is a favourite of mine and this is well presented here. I now plan to keep an eye on the temporary exhibits and follow up with the ones that interest me.
This is a fun place to go for all ages. I have brought my son several times over the years starting at the age of 3 and there has been lots for him to do and see. It’s really informative and allows you to explore by doing a variety of activities. There really is something for everyone and a fun way to spend time in the city. The location is great and easy to get to by transit.
I also live in False Creek and have enjoyed the new exterior light instalment. So bright and beautiful!
The only critique I have is that there is limited food options available. They do have a TripleO’s but it has been really hit and miss as to when they are open.

Loved my first visit to the science centre! We could not even complete the ground floor in three hours and aim to go again! Highly interactive with the kids experiencing sound by playing on drums or just going into a silent zone! Excellent exhibition on the developing embryo inside a mothers womb! Fascinating actually !
The small rainforest with its colourful frogs etc etc

Interesting and vast science museum. A variety of both hands-on and hands-off and opportunities. Extremely clean, and love that the exhibits are spread out. There are a ton of employees walking around helping and keeping things in order. We took two school aged children there and we learned a lot. We spent about 2 hours here, but you could spend a little bit more. Prices seem very reasonable for a science museum. There was parking outside, however you did have to pay. There is a map they give you too and nice washrooms.
Spent about 3 hours here. I was expecting a lot more interactive sections and displays. It was nice to see some of the technology advancement for the bicycles and music. but overall it was a mediocre visit. The place is nicely put together and it flows well. The staff is nice. Military members get free admission but not their family members. They have a small cafe. There is a "studio" to build some stuff which is a great idea for kids. I would bring my kids if I had any, I think they would enjoy it.
I was hoping for more games/demonstrations of how electricity works, or gravity/zero gravity demo, hands-on explanation of physics and chemistry concepts like chemical reactions, volcano eruptions, how reflections or sound waves work... I was hoping for it to be more hands-on and interactive not mainly looking and reading.

My kids and I used to thoroughly enjoy this museum. On our latest trip back to our hometown of Prince George, we decided to stop in and reminisce. This was the most disappointing $50 I ever spent. No play structure, no little jail, no little theatre. My kids were not interested in anything being offered, and I couldn't blame them. I really feel this place went from a 10, to a 2. So sad!
Lots of hands on learning. The interactive exhibits made it really engagingfor the kids and adults. It wasn't too crowded which made it so much more enjoyable.
If you have a membership to other Science Centres and make it up to Sudbury, it's definitely worth checking out Science North.

My family loved the hands-on activities and exhibits. There is so much to do, we quickly realized Science North is a place you have to visit at least a few times to do everything! We will be back!
Excellent place to learn the basics of science for adults. A must do activity with children as it is fun learning. It teaches children the basic science knowledge with so many fun activities. Shows are also fun to watch and participate. It is a whole day activity. Although discounted ticket after 5pm but o think 3 hours is not enough so starting early and spending the entire day in the museum is the best way to explore all the activities.
I haven't been back here for a while (a decade +) and forgot how fun and educational this place is! It's definitely a great place to spend the day with kids. There are plenty of interesting things for the adults as well. Did you know there's a big plant called Tulip Tree? I didn't. I like it that the entire place is spacious with high ceilings. There are so many interactive & interesting things strategically placed not too far from each other so visitors don't crowd into one place. Can you spot the dragon lizard?
I took my 6 year old boy, but I am trying to assess from the lens of all kids from 6 to 66. I can agree with the opinion I hear a lot, which is that the place could use some revitalization. The exhibits are good - they really are. But I don't think they have the initial appeal to hook in the youth who have so many distractions and other things competing for their attention. Same for the adult who will readily assume they know what the exhibit is about on a surface level, not realizing there may be more there, just a little deeper. The fact that it has stayed mostly the same for so long plays well to the nostalgia of the 30+ crowd; that makes us better tour guides for the next generation. Hoping to see things evolve with the times, regardless of the address of the Ontario Science Centre.
Nice way to spend a few hours with the family especially if it's crazy hot outside. You get to see and learn about nature and animals for each ecosystem and you can take your time enjoying it. Well done and maintained, facilities are clean and has easy to follow paths. Certain areas can get crowded and people or kids get a bit pushy but otherwise an enjoyable time.
This museum is great! Very clean, organized, and packed with variety of information. A few hands on areas that attract kids. We were visiting family in the area and came here to learn and waste time between family gatherings. A little pricey and they charge for parking but was worth it. Museum also had lockers, restrooms and gift shop.

A little smaller than expected. The kids liked it. The Rock tunnel was really cool. Staff were really nice. Kids liked the IMAX. Everything was clean and well maintained. Nothing was run down or broken. Also lot of animals and critters to see.
We have come once or twice per year. I love that the change the main exposition. This time, it was on hockey. There were lots of interactive games. We had fun! The other expositions are always interesting, too. My kids always have a good time. One little downside is, of course, all the day camps, but it's understandable since it's summer.
This was my first time back since the 90’s. My 5 yr old loved it. She had a wonderful time on all of the floors. It is a great day out and worth the money, there are so many interactive stations. You could easily spend an entire day here.

The exhibit details are labelled, but the objects are not visibly labelled with a corresponding number or how the object was used. This would have been a better experience. The print was small and hard to read. An example was the herbarium. We were not provided a stylus. There was a lot of missed opportunity for knowledge sharing.
It was pretty boring and I could have gotten better education elsewhere and the kids could have played with the same toys for free or for more affordable elsewhere.
I miss the science kits and more interactive learning opportunities.

Spectacular and phenomenal!! If you want to build a world class edifice then travel the world and add the pieces together in one place. This place has so much fun and science related activities and things to see and do. Great accessibility too for baby strollers throughout the building.

This museum was a great experience 😃 at the reception, you get a display of dinosaur skeletons #fake 🦖🦕 but still a lot realistic on proportions and detailed. Mr PG is always a pleasure to see 🙈 as well as checking on his story, at least for the metal version, which was lost for about 10 years 😞, but it found its way back 🏠

It is wonderful for kids because there are lots of fun games that can teach them science, but not as much for adults. I thought it was more a museum type of thing, but I was mistaken. I think it is an amazing place to go if you have children between six and 12. They will enjoy it for sure. It is not an adult solo activity.
Great museum for all ages, children and adults alike. Plenty of interactivity to keep the little ones occupied for an hour or two. Very open plan museum, so if you have kids who love to run, stay close as it would be easy to lose them quickly. Very reasonable prices to enter. Definitely worth a visit.
With an annual membership, it's always a great place to take the kids!
First time visiting Science North. Adults is $25 to get in.Children 3-14 is $21 .There is a price for seniors but not sure we went into the Dinosaur exhibit. That was pretty good .Went into the Science part and was surprised at how well things were set up as there were ot of interative stations. It was very interesting and we had a great time .We also had lunch it was good food as well.
I really loved 'touch the universe' back in the 90's. Some of the favourites are gone (the optical illusion room, build a block bridge, smell centre), and there are some new features (build a race car, watershed learning centre, rocket mini replicas, play with pulley) Lego building tables.
Its still a hit, but needs a revamping (which I think is the plan) it's 8 bucks for an adult, so a good way to enjoy an hour before hitting the planetarium or venturing into the museum.

Pretty good. Little overpriced but most museums are. Little run down and needing a refresh. Perhaps some new displays. The Children's museum has more interactive displays. Parking was ridiculous. $15 for indoor parking since the surface lot was over filled across the street.
Great for kindergarten kids and up, less so for those with preschoolers. Good to see the travelling exhibit space on the lower floor, makes it really easy to get to and navigate. Local artists and authors showcased in the gift shop. Have a family membership will definitely be back.
This is a really fun and interactive science experience! There are lots of different themes to explore- wildlife and nature (insects included), fossils, mining, outer space, the human body, etc. I went with my boyfriend and his family and we had a lovely time. I would definitely argue that this is more for the appeal of younger children as many of the activities are very easy and designed for kids. However, there is still lots to look at and learn. Overall, I think it's worth checking out!
Not what it used to be at all. Very boring same old stuff from when I was a kid. The kids these day zip through the entire place in less then 15 min. The whole thing is old and everything in it reflects that. Needs an overhaul big time. If I'm being honest don't waste your money. Your kids will look at you like "whats the catch mom" i loved this place as a kid. I was hoping my kid would to. But she wanted to leave after 10 mins.
I took 5 kiddos here for a field trip they loved it. The only downside was parking is so expensive and hard to find being as it was spring break.
Terrific place to visit with kids. It's not "science world" but it's a great value. Well maintained exhibits, friendly staff, eclectic variety, and young kids have a blast in the play area.
