Point Pelee National Park

My son and I decided to take part of the day and spend it here. It was a wonderful way to spend part of our day. The boardwalk along the marsh is beautiful, with lots of spots to rest along the way if needed.

You could easily spend an entire day here amongst the trails and various beaches.

Drive to the location is pretty scenic, windmills along the road. Wonderful walking trails and mesmerizing to see the actual point one side waves and the other side silent water body. Worth visiting. If you stay after sunset fireflies are the bonus!

Went to Point Pelee National Park with my girlfriend recently and it's magnificent! The park is vast, pristine and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed walking the trails, visiting the point and swimming in Lake Erie. The boardwalk in the wetlands area is very beautiful and fun! I highly recommend a visit to this awesome Canadian gem of a park! Many thanks to the great people maintaining and working at Point Pelee National Park!

Wonderful place to visit, as it called tip of Canada you would get a different feel when visiting. Van drive is there from the visitor centre for every 20mins, very helpful. After visiting the tip you can do a lot more things around the area with the map or not it is very easy to locate the attractions. There are so many places to take a dip in the water as well.

Good beaches with childrens playground available. Somewhat crowded in the summertime. Board walk features a lovely walk through wetlands with many flowers in bloom when we were visiting. Good bird watching. Several observation towers to climb

We went for a day trip there, It was a great and relaxed experience. Entry was around 9 CAD per adult but if you are a family then total family group cost will be 17 which they will take care of themselves which is impressive. Then you can park your car in a parking lot near the visitor centre and it has washrooms, drinking water facility and a free shuttle to the tip running frequently all day till 7 pm. From the park entrance till visiting centre, You will have multiple options to go to beaches on your right side with parking facilities in case you want to visit beaches directly instead of visiting centre. Great weekend getaway!! It is the Southern most tip of Canada. Spent almost half a day here walking around and enjoyed the fresh air.

Shuttle service is available to the tip and is frequently operated for every 10 to 15 minutes. Well marked trails. The Tip tower is closed for some reason.

A lot of bird migration happens here in the park and it is a birder’s paradise.

Serene and peaceful National park and would definitely go back again.

Very beautiful park. I went there last summer, and it was worth it. It’s very peaceful and we actually saw a deer! There is a diverse variety of plants, and the beach was awesome. The museum was also very interesting. Clean bathrooms. Took some great pictures at the tip. 👍 recommend
