I always love this place! The shorebird cell is my favorite part of the entire park, but it's all great. Use caution, last time we went we did have several ticks crawling over us (thankfully no bites though). Awesome place for birding!

Easy to pay for parking with the Honk app and fee is good for 24 hrs. Birding hotspot. A must see if you’re in the area for birds. Covered shelter available with great signage on expected birds.

This was my first time visiting Hillman Marsh Conservation Area and it was beautiful. We were lucky enough to visit on the 8th of April, eclipse day. Totality was an awe inspiring event that you couldn't take your eyes off of. Magical, beautiful, phenomenal.
Carp were splashing in the water, getting ready for mating season. Herons flying majestically back and forth. What a perfect day to visit. And better yet - the washrooms were open and clean and ready for use. Always a plus.
Thank you ERCA for this maintained Conservation Area. God bless.

Beautiful area, teeming with wildlife. We walked through the scenic trails and had a picnic while waiting for the solar eclipse. The marsh offered an amazing view, and I kept thinking "we have to remember to come back here for the next solar eclipse!". If only it worked like that.
