This is the first time I wish there were more stars to give! Came here with my beautiful wife to celebrate our 21st anniversary and let me tell you, the staff and kitchen exceeded my expectations! Really this was a phenomenal culinary experience from start to finish. Jazmin was an excellent server, runners were very informative when presenting courses, the manager gentleman (sorry didn't ask his name) was also very kind and attentive and the view was just icing on the cake! The chef surprised us before the first course with amuse bouche (tiny gazpachos) that were so tasty! Really an amazing experience and truly made our special night! Truly impressed and already planning to return.

71 Above is well worth it it’s great service, great views, great experience and great food. Dress code is business casual no hats or shorts it’s a 3 course meal for $100 additional cost for other options.
Start you off with a real delicious broth.
First course was Casarecce Pasta has truffle, pasta cooked on point topped with caviar which adds a nice texture to it.
Second Course is Grilled Ribeye cooked medium well, delicioso.
Third Course was desert I got a Chocolate Cremeux it’s a must grab unless you despite chocolate.
I tried the Grilled Octopus super delicious well prepared and cooked not chewy which is a plus.
The Apricot Granita was ok but personally wouldn’t recommend.

Great food and great ambiance. One of the best locations in LA. Building lobby has been renovated and now the vibes are even better. Great place to come for cocktails or a delicate wine list.

71 Above was excellent!!! Definitely a little bit on the pricey side, but well worth it!!! Where else can you get the experience of being on the 71st floor gorgeous view and delicious food!! Went there for my mom‘s birthday. Now we want to go for my sisters and my own birthday!!! Also when we got there, we couldn’t get a window seat, but we talked to our waiter and during dessert he said we could place you by a window seat so even after a halfway after the meal, they gave us a window seat thank you so much 71above.!!!!

Im very impressed with the place and restaurant. Overall the experience was amazing. My husband and I came here to celebrate our 1 year wedding Anniversary. We got sat by the window and the view was amazing, the food and drinks delicious words cant express how everything tasted so good. The servers were very attentive and explain everything well. I definitely will recommend this place

The space is really nice with a great view of downtown LA. Most of the food was really good, some not so great. The presentation was outstanding. 3 stars on service because they kept forgetting things and it was all painfully slow. When each course did finally arrive they did have enough people to serve everyone at the same time and our first server, Kelsey, was very friendly and informative. She went off duty just before the desert course so that was awkward. The restroom was not 5 star clean. I expect better at this price point. $4 for a club soda with lime?

This spot deserves more stars until Google recognizes it as a must-visit in downtown LA. I had my birthday dinner here.I'd suggest it mainly for drinks because their food options are limited to a three-course menu. There are two escalators to take you up to a sky-high 71st-floor atmosphere where the drinks and the vibes are incredible. The female bartender whipped up a non-alcoholic margarita for me with lemon perfection! I tried their shrimp appetizer, which has head and tail included and was well cooked with the right flavors of sauce around it. It was impressive, and I could taste the chef's expertise . I would say I liked their almond cake more, with its smooth texture and just the right amount of sweetness. Plus, they add a crunchy topping, which adds a nice touch. I like crunching desserts, which impressed me and the sweet bread below the cake was so smooth. Opt for a window seat for the best experience. There’s an 18% service charge, but it's worth it. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but the food options and quantity might not justify the cost. The view, the vibes it gives, and the food taste are all worth it.
