Hilton New Orleans Airport

They’re doing clean up on some floors but everything was awesome. They really tired to make sure everything was great. Will be 5 stars once renovations are complete. Will stay here again.

Rooms and the hotel seem outdated. There was also some sort of mechanical issue here that kept the lobby really warm and noisy while air hoses were pumped in from outside. Service was good. We were here for business.

It was a great stay. The beds were comfy. The room was nice and cold. The mini fridge was not working but not a big deal. We needed extra towels and housekeeping was sent to the room. The $18 for breakfast we passed on. It was a basic continental breakfast not worth $18. The bar had decent bar food. However, definitely overpriced we were hungry.

What an awesome hotel!! The front desk staff are always exceptionally friendly and professional! Dani & Sam went above and beyond to help us! Once I left the hotel and arrived at the airport I wasn’t sure if I locked my car and panicked! Immediately I called the front desk and they offered to go check my car of which they reassured me it was locked!! I’m sure they would help anybody who needed them! Best hotel around!!!

STAY AWAY
We arrived at midnight after being up 25 hours. We were traveling from Amsterdam in which we had delays and changed airports. We got to sleep at one am to beawaken by the maid at 8am. We went down and ask for coffee. I was had a headache from the climate. They don't serve coffee if you just want coffee. Go to the machine. We go to the machine. No coffee, it needs to be clean. Back to the restaurant where Ronnie begins to argue with us that he had run it and it was fine. Why would we lie? He kept on and on. He would not stop.Finally when I was in tears from tiredness, we got a cup of coffee. Other people came in and got coffee no problem. By the way, coffee at the machine was 5 dollars a cup. The manager said the machine needed to be cleaned. I left them money for the coffee. I charged it to the room. When we complained, we were told it is hard to get good help. Not my problem.

The location is very good and restaurant with good meals. It's a pretty busy hotel receiving airlines crew who occupied the hotel staff attention and time more than other customers. Shuttle's capacity is very limit if you include the flight crew, if they use the same transportation, they need to wake up earlier, I almost miss my flight because of them. They don't do baggage nor the same security check as other's guests, the hotel must give the same attention, we are all guests.

This hotel is really showing its age as it has slowly fallen into a state of disrepair.
Found my shower to be not only broken, but the old shower head and lever were simply left in place after the “upgrade” was done. That’s just pure laziness by the maintenance guy
The ceiling has a large 12” diameter circle of previous water damage that could easily be dressed up with some spackle and a lick of paint. An area of wallpaper peeling from the wall, again, an easy fix.
Lastly, not sure why, but the A/C unit would turn off and on again every 45 seconds to 1.5 minutes. (Maybe time to fix that leaky window next to it)

This was a nice hotel back 8 or so years ago. I’ve stayed at this hotel at least 8-10 times. The last two times I’ve stayed, no thank you. If my company will let me avoid this place, I’ll be staying elsewhere.
Oh, almost forgot. Your shuttle van is an accident waiting to happen. I could hear the passenger side suspension clanging every time the driver hit a bump. You definitely need to get that fixed before you have a catastrophic failure.
