What a fantastic little cinema.
Takes you back to how cinemas used to be 😊
First visit but will definitely go again now I've found it.

I watched an excellent film there in a comfortable seat. However, my friend who would have loved to join me was unable to do so as there is no lift in the building. It is not disability friendly.

I first visited the Palace in 19..... never mind a long time ago ! Loved it ever since ,its one of the few real jewels in Maltons crown . Good movie selection ,great helpful staff .....perfect.

Latest films in a boutique environment. Staff are lovely. The preserved art deco style us fabulous. Comfy seats and excellent visual and sound quality. Much better experience than the big multiplexes.

This tiny little cinema was lovely. The staff are really friendly. The room we went in had just 12 seats, very cosy. Watched where the crawdads sing

The Palace Cinema in Malton has 3 screens. We were in the smallest one tonight with only 12 seats. Both the picture and the sound were excellent. The other 2 screens are much larger with (I think), 52 and 86 seats.
What a beautiful old building housing state of the art equipment, showing all the latest films. Friendly staff too. Very impressed.
Will definitely visit again when next in the area.
