Clean, Fast, and very safe
Very unusual metro station with Lego parts on the platform
This metro station is a very good starting point to the old part of Sofia.
Amazing station, like sitting on the street but underground!!
It's nice and tidy. The architecture is very well put. I think the atmosphere is the one that gives this place the charm and vibe that deserves.
The most beautiful metrostation in Sofia
A nice bridge with four large bronze sculptures of Lions. All four a different. You can see some small remnants of structures from Roman times. Lions are iconic in Bulgaria and there are fun to see (I like lions).
As you walk from the bridge back into the city along the main avenue don't miss the ethnic neighborhood, restaurants and markets on the left side of the street.

The famous Lions bridge. Looks much better after the renovation they did couple a years ago. Go check it out if have some time to spend.
