Very pretty shrine park. We stayed for about 45 minutes and couldn't take it the whole place, but the main shrine is very pretty. It feels like a portal into the forest from the city. However there are many people around no matter the time of day, so you still sadly feel a sense of the urban city.

Very large shrine complex with a newly completed museum. It's worth a look but not a beautiful shrine compared to some.

This is one of the famous must-visit here in Nagoya. This is shrine has a unique design and mang people are coming here to pray. So nice!!

Shrine is located about 10 minutes away from Atsuta Jingu Station. There’s a nice path that will lead you around the shrine and will take you about 15 minutes stroll to experience the peace and serenity of the surrounding. I visited on Tuesday morning and it wasn’t crowded. A beautiful shrine worth the visit when you’re in Nagoya.

Interesting park with rich history. Also good for a relaxing walk. I was not aware that you cannot see the divine sword as it is protected inside the shrine. Many other exhibits are available if you take your time to walk through the shrine.

A beautiful shrine, a must visit if you are in Nagoya. The grounds are large but the shrine itself was compact. I am guessing that not many tourists come here as all the signs are in Japanese only, so a translation app is recommended if you do not speak Japanese. It is worth reading about the significance of the shrine as well, and the sacred sword contained inside, which is hidden from public view. Definitely recommend if you are in Nagoya.

Pretty beautiful place that can be reached from the Atsuta station via JR pass.
The park itself is beautiful with a nice looking boat structure that kids seem to adore. The nice looking wooden Tori gates around and the beautifully built shrine are definitely worth the time to enjoy the sights.
You can buy amulets and fortunes at the shrine but they are slightly pricey at 1000 yen and 200 yen respectively .
We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the clean park with toilets present. There was one store which was really popular selling udon.
Be careful of the crowd there as they do steal peoples food.
