Quiet beach with shallow water/gradual drop off. Park on the side of the road and just walk straight to it!

I always stop at the roadside beach when possible. It was a beautiful fall day and the sunset did not disappoint, as always.

We have been going to this beach for a few years now. The sand is good but the beach is not deep. But the depth of the lake is very gradual and you can walk out a long way. The water is clear and there are no sharks or jelly fish. You are on top of the food chain. The water is a little chilly at first but not bad.

We love lake Michigan! Clean salt free, beautiful!

such a hidden gem right on the fresh steps of the UP. We make it a point to hit this beach everytime we cross the bridge.

Great place to hang out and still.. just pull off the side of the road and you are right on the beach. Black flies can be a real nuisance so bring done bug spray
