Peachtree Middle School

This place is a free tour of a prison! i was coughing in class and i got suspended for it! i have found countless hair, bugs, and mold in the school lunch its given me food poisoning 3 times, plus we found thanksgiving food in a warm area 4 months before it was supposed to be served! the lunch lady are racist, they even teach a class here about food safety and its taught by the people who make the food its disgusting! the PE coaches are sexist, Mean, sleep, smoke, and are not even fit in any way whatsoever! and most of the schools teachers have a prison report just look it up, even the the 7th grade vice principal!

I'm not at all happy with this school. Teachers are very careless. My child is in the gifted program and the teachers are horrible. They don't explain the subjects well, some of them give tests but never grade them, some give tests on things they haven't even gone through . The school needs to hire some good teachers. Teachers seem like they are just there for the checks and not to teach. They seem so inexperienced. I feel like my child is in college where she basically needs to teach herself. Administration doesn't really seem to care if you call in with concerns. I'm really thinking of changing schools. For a school in the Dunwoody area, this is horrible!!

awesome school, my grand son studies here, teachers are very good, very helpful, vast open space around the school. for kids to catch up on outdoor games, bus services provided for pick up of the kids from residences..

This place is ok and has ok teachers but the way they discipline the children is not ok! They publicly embarrassse the kids and make the kids to make fun of them. Some of the teachers may have some anger issues and may have to scream at the children. The teacher may use profanity once in awhile. One time I had my earbuds tucked in my jacket and then the 7th Grade Principal came and threatened me even though my phone was tucked away... To be honest I would not recommend this school at all! Thank you

I feel like the education is lacking, as many of the teachers only give the assignment and give up, as they are only going for their paycheck. The vice principle said it was MY fault for not being able to log in to my grades online (I was new, didn't have it set up yet), and the children are inappropriate talking about nasty things and cussing with the teachers barely batting an eye. This is coming from a 3 year student, and boy it has not been fun. I'll be glad to go to highschool!

Overall this is an phenomenal school. There is in no way a lack of diversity, and there are many ways for students to express themselves ( chorus, band, orchestra, drama, etc.). Because this is a charter school, the teachers are a lot more hands on with helping each individual student succeed. However, some teachers make the students question why they were hired. But nevertheless, there were still a lot of fun moments this year, and i really appreciate the variety of clubs for students too join.

( Also, i recommend bringing your own lunch unless you are fine with finding chicken feet in your lunch, and consuming bouncing hotdogs)

I came here. Life sucked since I was new and knew no one. Gym made my legs feel broken everyday(since you have to take it 3 times out of the 4 nine-week marks). Teachers were ok and nice but sometimes didn't know what they were doing.I did have some pretty good teachers, but those were few and far between. ok school at best in my opinion.
