Stayed here with Eurocamp cabins. Nice intimate campsite, has more personality than most campsites I've stayed at. Washing facilities were clean and worked well. Although the giant gate is closed for certain hours (eg. Opens at 8am) it provides a level of security, plus if you need to leave sooner then just park outside the gate - plenty of parking.
Fantastic swimming pool complex next door (entry fee).
Short walk to large, well stocked supermarket. 25min walk into Herbolzheim where there are several eateries or bars.
Knocked it down to 4 stars only due to us having an electric car and there were no charging facilities on site, nor could you plug it in with your own cables.

We stayed here for a week in a caravan through Eurocamp, nice campsite and play areas with easy access to the Freibad, which was itself superb, and Edeka an easy bike ride away. There was a slightly bizarre closure of the camp vehicle gate between 1pm and 3pm, but the noise curfew pre 8AM and post 10PM was very, very welcome. Not sure what the camping facilities are like.

The Eurocamp rep was very friendly but somewhat prone to micro management e.g. turn the fridge setting down the night before you go to defrost it, sweep and mop the day before you go so it is less of a job when you leave, what specific time are you arriving / leaving etc. The caravan was OK but as per usual for Eurocamp there was very limited cooking equipment (e.g. pans without lids, no veg peeler, no chopping board etc) and various things tired / slightly broken

The past years we use this campsite for our back or forth journeys. Everytime we come here it feels like home. Nice and friendly campsite with well taken care of the sanitary and pitches. Nice grass pitches with bushesin between. There is a good bakeryservice too. This year we spent the night on pitch 9 and we loved it. Keep up the good work!

Biggest issue here was the toilets. No toilet seat, and just find that very disgusting. And the toilets were dirty. Other than that the location was okay, not too far from the city.

Good campground with municipal pool nearby. Euro Camp options here are great.

Nice, green and quiet campsite. Friendly owners. Beautiful hiking options in the area. Note that the gate closes between 1pm and 3:30pm so you’ll not be able to leave by car between those hours… Bad cell phone reception as well, so prepare to detox. :)

Very nice, clean and quiet site. On the negative, the Internet you have to pay for is close to useless and often does not work.
Finally, whilst Eurocamp staff are polite and professional, I would describe the owner as being exceptionally rude and short tempered. I evidence this by personal experience. In public, not even asking if I owned a camper van (I do not) let alone if I had parked it causing an obstruction (I had not - I drove a little mini parked by my accommodation) - he actually began to shout at me to move it when I entered the office to say the wi fi was not working - again. Though I explained it was not me nor my camper van, he yelled at me - literally- to move it immediately saying it was mine! He proceeded to jump theatrically from his chair insisting I follow him to look. After nearly 3 minutes of “Basil Faulty” style behaviour, the penny dropped and he embarrassingly conceded his error.
Read other reviews of a negative nature regarding him.
