Great place to hang. Good food, good atmosphere and love the music. Decent location but park on the street cause parking at the restaurants are crazy expensive. I took my grilled cheese and tomato soup home and ate it the next day…still good!

Place looks great, should be a packed house with live music and style. However, there were maybe 30 people in the bar that should fit 200+. Food is average bar food but the service is horrible. Bartenders need to work on customer appreciation. Seemed like the Bartender was more annoyed with food and drink orders than appreciative she might walk out that night with some tips. My wife didn't even want to go back to order a 2nd drink because of her attitude. Left as soon as we finished the food because you can find music, atmosphere, and better attitudes most anywhere in Nashville.

Absolutely wonderful place! Food was excellent! Unfortunately bar tender spilled a beer while trying to serve it. Got pissed of when asked to make sure the beer wasn’t charged after spilling it. She threw it away getting annoyed. Decided to yell and try to kick us out after saying we didn’t grab the beer fast enough and that we spilled the beer not them. 2 people besides the bar tender saw what happened.

My fiancé and I were staying in Midtown and came here Friday for some live music, we enjoyed the band so much we came back on Saturday. Saturday was a completely different story- all of the staff appeared to be drunk themselves and the bouncers were the some of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. It was like they were trying to piss people off so they had a reason to kick them out. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment unless you wanna get flipped off by bar tenders and interrogated by the bouncers.

The dogwood is the perfect place for a great vibe. Tasty food, outdoor seating, live music, and they had some games (my friends and I played Jenga). I ordered the brisket burrito and it did not disappoint! It was delicious, 5/5 stars! I was expecting the fries to come on the side but they were actually inside of the burrito, how cool :)

The dogwood is a really cozy little bar that sits out of the crazy of Broadway, but still offers a vibrant and fun atmosphere. I highly recommend coming on a Sunday night to watch one of the Bolos and Booze writers rounds that is hosted by studio rats. While you’re at the dogwood make sure you give the quesadilla a try as it is a great dish.

Great atmosphere & very good food! Don't expect a waiter/waitress to come to your table for an order, here you go to the bar and order your food yourself! Although we had very good service we were surprised to find we had to step up and order this way. Both indoor and outdoor dining available.
