How are you not embarrassed as a union for bragging about getting us a 5 cent raise annually? The form you have to fill out for people who may pass soon is gross. I'm not psychic! How am I supposed to know that? When my husband's grandfather passed I was told it was union policy to show proof of death. My husbands family found this rude and intrusive. I was even embarrassed to ask for it. So thanks for that. They say they'll protect you and don't. So many people have been fired that shouldn't have been. This union sides with the company and most of the time doesn't talk to you first so they can advocate for you. Maternity leave is a joke and so is sick leave.
