I have lived here for a couple months and let me say there are a lot of great features! I love the location, the staff are nice, the culture is friendly, the apartments are a nice size and I love my sunroom. But the elevators keep breaking (like, every week) and the A/C just can't keep up. I just got back from the gym which was 79 degrees at 730 pm, to my apartment which is 78. That is with the thermostat set to 65 and multiple work orders placed. Maybe I'll eventually adapt to enjoy the heat, but for now it is hard to enjoy the amenities when I'm sweating after doing a couple chores.
EDIT: Reduced the stars. I put in (another) work order as recommended in the reply and apparently my AC is working fine even though it never gets below 75-76 in my apartment. I can't use the stove or oven because then it is 79-80. Maybe update your AC if it can't keep your residents comfortable when it is "working".
Also, I wanted to add that the garage, hallways, and elevators are always very warm as well. Doesn't seem like this building is interested in investing in a comfortable temperature.

If you value elevators that work, you need to look somewhere else.
I've lived here for many years, and have generally enjoyed it, but the elevator situation of late has been beyond disastrous and I can no longer be silent.
As of this writing, there is currently one elevator (of four) working in a 25 floor building. Management constantly apologizes for the elevator issues, but neither they nor their contractor Otis seem to actually fix the elevators for more than a day or so before they break again.
And assuming you're lucky enough to find an elevator that actually works after waiting for way too long, know that the AC within the elevator won't be working.
Also, the hallways of each floor are no longer air conditioned for whatever reason (probably cost cutting), so expect steamy conditions in the common areas (it's currently 97 degrees outside).

Lived here for about 3 years now. The apartment itself is nice enough but the elevators for the building are constantly going out of service. There's 25 floors on this building and you can only get to your apartment via elevator. Usually we operate with three out of four elevators because one is always broken but lately only two elevators have been working consistently.
It's difficult to get in and out of your apartment due to the long lines and demand for the elevator. The management company just sends us a sad email explaining that they're looking into the elevator fixes but they break the very next day. I would look to live somewhere else.

I have never been more disappointed with a living situation than I am with Meridian at Eisenhower. Over the past two weeks, all four elevators in this 25-floor building have been consistently broken. At best, maybe two elevators work, but they are excruciatingly slow and unbearably hot, with no air conditioning.
The elevator situation is a nightmare. It often takes up to 20 minutes just to leave the building. When an elevator finally arrives, it's usually so packed with people and pets that there isn't even room to squeeze in. This has caused significant delays, making me and countless other residents late for work and other critical appointments.
This ongoing issue is unacceptable for a complex of this size and rent price. The management needs to address this immediately and provide a significant rent reduction to compensate residents for this massive inconvenience. Until then, I cannot recommend Meridian at Eisenhower to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable living environment.

I’ve been living at the Meridian for almost 3 years. Staff has always been friendly, maintenance has been speedy, the building is relatively clean and well maintained. Having a concierge and secure parking is wonderful as well.
Location to Old Town and the Eisenhower Metro is prime, and could not think about living anywhere else in the area.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Meridian at Eisenhower apartments. Not only were the facilities subpar, but their application process was outrageously unfair and discriminatory. Despite meeting all the requirements and providing ample documentation, I was subjected to unnecessary scrutiny and bias. It's evident that Meridian at Eisenhower doesn't value diversity or inclusivity in their tenant selection process. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for housing options that actually respect their applicants.

I’ve only lived here a little over a month and I can say the staff are so friendly and pleasant. I like that it’s a secured building which makes me feel more at ease. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly. don’t hear any noise from my surrounding neighbors, which is a plus for me. I’d recommend Meridian if anyone ask.

Update July 2024: Unfortunately, the elevator situation as others have cited is absolutely ridiculous. To make matters worse my washer and dryer has been out for three weeks and having to wait for the elevators (20+ mins) while lugging clothes to a vacant unit is insane for the price they charge for these units. I love the area and concierge and even the leasing office but the management company is clearly not prioritizing this building. I recommend installing fob access on the stairwell. We should at least be able to access our units via stairs when the elevators are down.
When we first started our journey of looking for places in Alexandria, I stumbled upon the Meridian at Eisenhower. What caught my attention was the 4.1 rating. A score that high is extremely impressive for an apartment building. Now, I completely understand why they’re highly rated. We just moved in. From start to finish, the entire staff were professional, kept us informed throughout the application and move-in process and were extremely accommodating. Our floorplan is absolutely gorgeous and our the building itself is beautiful. Obviously, the location is prime as many have mentioned before. The only con is the parking garage. The entrance is very narrow so if you have an SUV or bigger vehicle, be careful. But honestly, it’s not a big deal for us. There are plenty of parking spaces - which is most important.
Note: I’ll provide a six month update
