ShopRite of Parkville

Expiration dates! I used instacart to purchase a few items. Received my order and I always look at expiration dates. Why is today July 18, 2024 and the Mac and cheese boxes that I received say “Best by 7/29/23” I had to do a double take! This is unacceptable. By looking at the reviews, I see this is an ongoing issue. Won’t be shopping at this location ever again. I guess since it’s not in the best of neighborhoods they don’t care..

Awful management especially the young scrawny guy. Think it's name was Anthony terrible experience with that toothpick of a human is the honest truth.

good place to grab little things like gum, but you better make sure you check expiration dates because they sure don’t :( can’t tell you how many times we’ve seen countless packages of expired meat, yogurt, etc. sitting on the shelves- produce section is also pretty sad.. but the gum is good :)

Visited this store years ago when it first opened but found prices to be significantly higher then competitors. Stoped in this week to check things out prices seem more inline. But customer service is the worst. Bought about 40 items many required the card to get the discount. My card wouldn't work nor would my phone number. The girl running the front end shrugged her shoulders said nothing she could do customer service was closed and would not help. I looked at her told her it sure is closed and walked out leaving her with the groceries to put back.
I live close to this store but we never go back.

Where in the ban on plastic bags does it say you also have to bag your own groceries? Went to #shopriteinperringparkway, the lady in front of me wasn’t finished bagging her groceries when the cashier started ringing up mine, same with the lady behind me before I was finished. Was a total mess. She just kept ring and bagged nothing. 😡 Do better #ShopRite. 😡🙄🤦‍♀️

This a fairly decent place to shop. The store is clean, most of the cashiers are nice. I really never had a bad interaction with any of them..honestly I wish they had club size products on more items and that they offer grocery pick up here.

This not a quality market. The "sales" are anything but a sale. They ask for your id to get a discount card. I went there today to pick up a box of pasta and picked up wings that were on sale for $1.99lb, which is the Sam's Club price. It is not worth your time or health to shop here.

I like this grocery market because it is convenient and inexpensive. For the most part their food is fresh and they always have stocked shelves and the products I want. On the other hand, their produce section needs some work, especially the vegetables. There's been many time when i went to purchase their fresh green beans and there was mold on them or the salads and dressing would be expired. Thats why my rating is okay.

Update (6/25/19)
This place continues to sell products that are expired well past the posted expiration date on the item!!!!! Didn't realize the lastest product was expired until I got home and opened it
