Merriman Falls

Even in summer, really impressive. The falls are right off the highway, about four miles past the Lake Quinault Lodge, shortly after the turnoff for the Colonel Bob trail. There are turnouts, park and walk right up.

Merriman Falls in Quinault is a beautiful and easily accessible waterfall. The water cascades down a mossy rock face, surrounded by lush forest. It's a perfect spot for a quick visit and great photos. A must-see in the Quinault area.

Beautifull waterfalls and you dont even have to get out of your car.

Drive a truck or SUV, The road can be unkind to a sedan depending on time of year and the condition of the gravel road.

Right off the side of the road there is this amazing waterfall,get out or stay in the car. I ate my lunch while watching the water and feeling the mist.

It is a cute water fall, right off the road. You pass a small town and the fall just appears . There is a small area to park but don't expect paved parking. Not very big and probably won't have a wow effect if you have seen other falls in Olympic NP. We stopped on our way leaving the park and thought it was a nice closure.

This was actually one of my favorite waterfalls in Olympic. If you're out around the Quinalt Rainforest area, I highly recommend it! The falls are gorgeous, and what's really neat is that you can actually climb up right in and next to them. It's right off the road, so no hike unless you want to climb closer.

Beautiful waterfall and scenery. The air is so fresh and rejuvenating here. There is so much to see along this seemingly random waterfall along the road. Very beautiful despite limited signage. Make sure you don’t miss it. There are plenty of pull outs for you to park your car and a small trail to hike along the path of the waterfall and get scenic photos. Definitely a must stop.
