Deep forest
This is the most incredible experience one can have in their life in India. Amazing hike through pristine jungle and river crossing. Certainly not for the faint hearted as it requires a steep hike of 3kms and crossing a broad river but the view and experience when you get there is more than worth it.
Special shout-out to our guides Mahendran and Kalimuthu who were so friendly and knowledgeable, providing plenty of information about local flora & fauna and cooked delicious dinner and breakfast for us as well as making us feel so safe and comfortable at all times.
You are staying in a log house in the jungle so facilities are basic but adequate and the experience of sleeping right next to a waterfall is one of a kind.
If you get a chance, don't miss it.
