We came here after a friend recommended it. After driving through the crowded streets of Amalfi and seeing all the crowds at the other popular destinations, we decided to walk down the stairs to enjoy this beach. What an absolute gem! Our guide didn't even know about it and he grew up in Sorrento and has been doing tours for 15 years! I highly recommend taking the stairs down and then jumping in the water or laying out.

We walked over after parking at the Maiori central.
If you are looking for a quiet beach, it's the perfect place to spend time. Everything is nice but water needs to be clean.. food and rubbish were floating.

Good familiar beach with not so much public space but also not so much stairs to get there. Crystal clear and clean water. It also has some spots for rock jumping and a cave. Watch out for fishes because sometimes they bite.

Charming place, quite and peaceful.
Find a parking and then take walk down for the steps.
You can choose either rent a sunbed or just lay down on your towel.
2 sunbeds inc umberella 35 € (minimum).
There is shower for them who rent sunbeds.
You can also buy cold drinks as water, beer, soda.

If you want a spot make sure you get there very early. The beach is super small and the Lido takes up 90% of it. There is no bar or food.
The water is SUPER clean and warm! Is great place to relax and enjoy the beach!

Relax, explore and swim: the perfect beach to start your day. Park in the hotel down the cliff in Maiori, walk up around 7 minutes until you get to the stairs (passing the restaurant). Pay $20 for the beach seats or bring your towel to seat in the free space. There is a cave (or grotta) that is safe to swim in, if the weather is nice and mild. Do not miss this beach if you are passing Maiori, it is quieter and more private than the main beach downtown.
