Also known as Aare water falls near the Aare village. A Trekking opportunity inside the forest area for a few kilometers is available here. Bathing is allowed and life jackets ( floats) are available for now swimmers. The entry fee per person is Rs 50 and vehicle charges are extra.

Yesterday I visited Nagalapuram waterfall. Parking Ticket for bike ₹50, single person ₹50 and if you need life jacket that cost per jacket ₹100. It's a serene destination, known for its picturesque surroundings and clear water. The trek to reach the falls adds to the adventure, it's a deep, offering lush greenery and beautiful landscapes. Visitors appreciate the relatively untouched natural beauty, making it a tranquil escape. Trekking average time is 45 mins depending on how fast ur Trek. However, accessibility might be challenging for some due to the trekking involved. Overall good 👍 not recommended for kids.

There are around 4-5 mini falls and the main waterfall around the area. Good trail for trekking. Please carry water and basic first aid with you. Local guides are available in the area. Network reception is okayish. Please be on the lookout for snakes and don't start away from the trail. You will encounter wild buffalos and other critters/reptiles on the way. The photo uploaded here is of one of the mini falls in the area, couldn't capture the main falls as my battery died.

The trekking experience was good, but people have littered plastic and glass. One needs to be cautious not to step on these broken glass bottle pieces. Overall an amazing experience with nature.

Nice location for team outings. The waterfall is about 2.75km from the check post.
Visiting hours: 8am to 3pm.
Now a days they are now allowing to go beyond first water fall because of recent accidents. You can spend 3-4 hours ( including trekking & refreshing swim under waterfalls)

A perfect place for swimmers, trekkers and campers. About 12-13 kms of trek to and fro to the 3rd pool, the first two once are not that clean. The third one is really clean and perfect for swimming. These pools are located at multiple heights. You will find a lot of monkeys, so beware with your belongings, especially food. You can camp too at the base from where trek starts. Do return back before it gets too dark. Keep food and water stock with yourself. Coconut waters and some fruits from local people can be found at the camping place during the day. You will find the water stream after walking some distance. Also, you can opt to walk in the water for sometime instead of taking the path, it's really fun when little fishes bite your legs.

Small falls & some poll of clear water near Chennai. Difficult to trek during summer days will be very hot. Have to go by own vehicle to the nearest spot & go trekking for about 3 to 4 km to reach. Nice place to enjoy with group. No food available and have to carry all requirements.
