It was beautiful and so alive! I had so much fun just walking around listening to the amazing variety of music, lights, and the relaxed vibe that went along with it! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND VISIT!

Loved Beale Street! Music and entertainment everywhere. If you want a frozen drink....I suggest Wet Willies.
The biggest plus is the security that's in place! Not crazy with the horse drawn carriage rides that are offered. For one it was too hot out and too much traffic for the horses. We watched a couple horses that were nervous around all the cars.

Historic street to visit if you are in the area. We try to check it out whenever we are visiting family in Memphis. There are multiple restaurants, bars, dessert spots, souvenir shops... etc...
I like flipping through the stacks at the record store, watching the street performers, and being in the hustle and bustle of folks having a good time. You'll find tributes to musical legends in the namesakes and landmarks, as well as performances by up and coming artists.

Such a great place to visit! Plenty of places to eat and shop. We were lucky they had a car show/meet when we were there.

Really cool atmosphere not nearly as long or crazy as Bourbon Street in New Orleans, but the same kind of feel. It’s not necessarily kid friendly but when I was there I saw a lot of police officers and police cars. There was definitely a heavy police presence which made me feel safe. Right at dark they started setting up gates and checkpoints at the end of the street for added security.

Very busy in the evening. Lots of places to eat and enjoy the music. An iconic street to visit! The A. Schwarb store is a fantastic shop to look around. Really authentic and as you'd imagine an old store to look. Great T-shirts too. The bikes are like nothing I've ever seen. Lights, roaring, and a sense of pride.

Sunday in May is a good time to visit Beale Street, especially if rain is on the horizon. Not much of a crowd, easy seating at BB King’s and the Ghost River Brewery. Music at both places was quite good, as was the food at BB King’s. Staff at every place we stopped was great, so we had fun and didn’t feel overwhelmed.
