Opening mechanism was broken, took all the coins and did not open it at all. Not recommended. Wasted hike to have a good view!

Amazing place to watch the Sunset!

A few trails leading to the top of the hill make a great regular after-lunch hikes for the locals. A lot of benches and tables to sit at + grill spots. There's a small buffet that is open on some weekends.

Nice viewpoint overlooking Liestal but with views far beyond. Inexpensive (1CHF; Thought there's some options for 0.5 but I couldn't figure out out) but coins only so no cards. There's a large playground and cafe area but it probably seasonal or weekend a it was all dead on Thursday afternoon on March.

Our favourite place in Liestal. Great view, great playground and easy to walk with kids. On Sundays you can eat in restaurant next to the observation tower

Really nice place. Great view. Three restaurant es officially closed when we were there, but there are at least to grills and a very large and nice playground.
